Everyone grew up listening to whatever their parents listened to. Sitting in the back of the car, we were exposed to what our parents liked. My Father was a big Jazz fan, He loved Frank Sinatra,Benny Goodman and Harry James. He had a record collection that reflected his era. i used to crawl under the big old hi fi and listen to all of his favourites. This was my first exposure to music, that and whatever came out of the television set, the radio and Christmas songs. My parents had very busy lives and had to have babysitters come over quite often and take care of my brother and me. The family down the street had 7 kids, so whoever was available would come over with their little portable record players and a stack of 45's and play all the Rock and Roll of the day. Elvis, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and all of the mid 60's bands that were popular. All of this music shaped my young brain. Fast forward to now, the listener form the early 1960's is still addicted to songs. Writing and recording my own and discovering new and old music everyday.
