I got one of my songs in a MOTION PICTURE MOVIE :) WOO! its now on Netflix DVD!! Check it out!!

One of my biggest dreams as a singer songwriter was to see my music in movies and tv.   I sat in a time where I thought that might be an impossible task.   But im gonna tell you a story about how the internet has changed MY world and made this dream a reality for me with perseverance and determination.   

I create original works of music in multiple genres of music, some on my own and a lot with a variety of genre producers from around the globe.   I write music that reflects my life's journey and the wide spectrum of emotions and understandings of things I discover along the way.   

One of the ways I promote these songs as they become finalized is through the wonderful world of social media.  Sites like Facebook,  and Twitter have been very useful for me in not only discovering other artists to work but also finding promotional vehicles to showcase the music such as online radio, magazines and every now and then a rare Nuggets in the pot will be found.    

A few years back, I stumbled across a post from NFL superstar turned film director Simeon Rice.  He was making a major motion picture release thrilled called "Unsullied" to be released through Dreamline pictures worldwide in theaters.   He was looking for music for his film on Twitter and I responded openly with a few links.   It was a shot in the dark but he ended up checking me out and going through my entire catalog of music.   His team had selected several songs they were interested in and settled on an original song I wrote called "Diamonds"  produced by Netherlands Producer Qrittix.   This is an emotional piano pop ballad track used in a very driven and changing part of the main characters life in the movie.  

The movie "Unsullied" is now available on Netflix DVD and I would love for you guys to check it out, and let me know if you hear my song and what you guys think.   Also I hope stories like this bring encouragement to others out there trying to get there music out there to the masses in bigger ways.   Take a shot with submissions.   This cost me nothing, I ended up making a little money on the licensing and it opened me up to that world itself.   Most of all, I did this on my own, with no company to facilitate.  So can you!!!
