I just had a thought. I remember Kendrick Lamar before he was famous. He was an underground YouTube sensation and his videos had hundreds of thousands of views before he was in the mainstream spotlight. I remember my younger cousin telling me about him and showing his videos on YouTube and the comments and likes were through the roof. I am noticing that Steemit it starting to gain traction and I would love to see that next great talent, who may not be getting their recognition and may want to stay independent start posting their music directly to Steemit and D.Tube exclusively. Could Steemit change the way artists make money? Could this be the spark that sends YouTube and Facebook into the recycling bin? What if a musician gets a million views and 50,000 likes on the Steemit platform? What would that do to the industry? I would really like to see the reaction. Tell me what you think because I looked at the music tag and it is still in its infancy so it seems like it is just waiting for the right conditions. The foundation is Steemit, D.Tube is the house and I guess we just need to wait for the musicians to move in.
