Hello steemians this is my first music tutorial, this tutorial is based on fl studio those who are familiar with it will find it more easier but if you want to learn fl studio from the scratch (beginner level) you can just comment then I will comment back a link to you.
For the advance musicians I want to teach fast ways of making beat on fl studio believe me it is the fastest in my way.
I will be explaining them in steps and with pictures so here they are:
- The most important things you must is a laptop, speaker and fl studio software which you can find online, software shops.
- Then after launching the software, you will have to choose which instrument you want to use to help your melody. The two majorly used by me are piano, guitar but you can use yours.
- Then start making your melody in the piano roll and put a green bar on the note to start.
- Then you make sure kicks are present that will give base to the beat then put it in the pattern area in the software.
- Make snare present in the beat the snare should be in the second drum and it should be in between the kicks.
- Make the hi hat present it is important because of the sweetness it add to the beat.
- You can add other background instrument most recommended are strings,synth.
- Make sure all instrument should have it's own pattern properly place the beat to a avoid off rhythm.
- Then put the pattern in the playist then extend them to make it last longer.
- Finally you mix and adjust the volumes of the instruments in a perfect way.
