DMW BOSS (DAVIDO) ATTENDING THE WIRELESS FESTIVAL

The Wireless Festival was held on the weekend of Friday July 6 – July 8, and had Nigeria’s Davido performing on the second day of the event alongside other international acts like Stormzy, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie and Migos.

Davido’s performance was made extra colourful as he took to the main stage immediately after the English National Team had just sealed qualification into the Semi-finals of the World Cup 2018 in Russia following a 2 nil victory over Sweden. A game that was broadcast live on the big screen at the music festival.

But the most captivating moment of his performance was towards the tail end of his set, as he converted a controversial moment into an epic one.

Davido had been signalled by the organizers to round up his performances and even threatened to cut him off, but the singer who was feeling the energy of the crowd and getting a loud cry from the crowd to continue, jumped back on stage and what happened after is best described as magic and pure reflection of his status globally.
