Welcome to Steem! I see my friend @slobberchops has already been in touch. As he says the open mic contest by @luzcypher is a great place to find musicians and I mentioned more on this post

There's lots of great music from the 80s. I organise a pub music session and we get music from all eras there. I'm sure you have a lot of fun with your band. I'm also in my 50s and making more music than ever.
