Sample Hunters

I think our brains are hard wired to be pattern detecting devices by nature. One my my favourite things as a gluttonous music consumer is detecting samples used by a band I dig by another musical group I'm into.

In this instance I discovered that the Aesop Rock "Basic Cable" track samples the Ravi Shankar feat Philip Glass "Offering" track from their album Passages.

Let me know what you think of these two songs and the re-invision of the sampling.
