Strange Space Podcast. Live Improvised Experimental Electronic Music

Hey! Steemit noob here, this is my first post so thought I'd better give you a bit of background. Never really blogged before so please bare with me whilst I figure out how to use steemit properly! Hope you enjoy exploring my studio over the next few weeks.

Strange Space Podcast is a project I decided to create after becoming extremely bored and frustrated with music software on a Pc or Mac, Although it does have it's uses, for me it's a pretty boring way to create sound. I've had a Korg Kaoss Pad 3 since my djing days and always had a love for hardware synth's but really couldn't afford to fill my studio with Moog's, Roland's and classic Korg's so I did some research into some cheaper options, whilst searching around i stumbled into these tiny little groove boxes that were from £40-£100 per unit and connected to each other via cv or midi so they would stay in sync and even run on batteries.

After buying the ones I wanted I began constructing a live looping rig in my home studio, Whilst searching online I looked into the modular synth option but realised quickly it was a very expensive path but I loved the look so much I had to build something similar. This was early days for my exploration into hardware and improvising live and even now I've barely scratched the surface but my setup has grown massively. The setup I use is a tangle of synth's, drum machines, samplers, effects both analogue and digital but is constantly changing at the moment.

All the podcasts I'll be posting are completely improvised with nothing planned or prepared. I'll have guests come and jam with me when possible but most will be me noodling.

I'm going to start you with a slow mellow one.
