I mentioned before in my previous post https://steemit.com/music/@taiping/fats-waller-2-first-rhythm-recordings-from-1934 that Fats Waller made hundreds of recordings, but nearly all were issued from the first "take" although subsequent takes were always of a high quality and could have been used. There was no possibility of editing the recording except in a minor way.
Here is one example of a "Take-2" from 1938 which was unissued on 78 rpm, and only issued in Lp format in the 1960s. Again, my attempt at sound restoration.
