So for this review I will focus on the remix version as I’m expecting it to take off and I’m surprised it hasn’t done that up to this point, but then again I guess people need to wake up from their hibernation :P

The remix starts off with a super catchy melody that just makes you want to get up and dance on a sunny beach with a drink in your hand and this tune playing on repeat! Just listening to the intro alone makes you feel good and puts you in a chilled summery mood and it makes you want to embrace the simple life.

The first verse confirms my initial thoughts - I can easily see this track being played on radios, Spotify playlists and even summer festivals all around the globe. If you enjoy listening to artists like Jason Mraz and/or Jack Johnson coupled with catchy dance beats then this track is for you! The vocal performance by James Merry is top notch and Love Jimo makes this track really stand out with his deeper vocal range that perfectly compliments the singing of James Merry. But not only the vocal performances are top notch in this song, in fact the instruments are also played to the highest standards and the entire track is mixed and mastered perfectly as well! It is no surprise that this track is very catchy as James Merry is clearly a very talented singer-songwriter. Originally form the UK, he is now based in Oslo, which also shouldn’t come as a big surprise as Norway has an amazing music scene and world-renowned artists such as A-HA are actually from Norway, so relocating to Oslo was definitely a very smart move.

While the dance remix is my personal favourite I also like to listen to the original which should not be underestimated; This track sounds even more like Jack Johnson which is a good thing in my opinion and I can also see myself listening to this for quite some time, I just prefer the remix as it’s a little more catchy and faster. However, both songs are definitely ideal if you want an anthem for your summer or a nice reminder of what summer feels like if it’s not summer where you are!

If I had to critique anything on this track I would say that I needed it in my life earlier! This will certainly be one of the tunes I will be listening to for a long time, especially when it’s summertime and I happen to be lucky enough to be on a sunny beach, or maybe even when I just want to be in that summery mood!
