Sure I"m biased... but I still say, the 70s had the best friggin music ever

I really loved James Taylor's "Mud Slide Slim" as a kid in the early 70s.
That wonderful Laurel Canyon music scene was so awesome... with guys like JT, Neil Young, Stephen Stills, Carole King, Jackson Browne, the Eagles, Joe Walsh... never ending amount of talent, bandsmanship, and memorable music just sprung forth like magic! And of course while the Beatles, the Stones, Stevie Wonder, Queen, Led Zeppelin, and Bowie still killing it, there were less known but equally great regional great talent out there like Tower of Power, Be Bop Deluxe, the Tubes and so forth. Man, I could go on for an hour.

The BBC has a really great documentary on the Southern California music scene from that era. It was on YouTube not all that long ago, but the damned lawyers, right? The link below will get you started if you want to hunt it up.

I can't deny the 70s were an awesome decade! So many goods bands at their peak.

How does that work? RnRT isn't a 'user' and in my experience, Steemit threads die pretty quickly... something that bugs me a lot. If I follow you, do you create a new post every Thurs?
