2Pac released his third solo studio album "Me Against The World" in the spring of 1995. featuring classic tracks like "Dear Mama" and "So Many Tears", the album was hailed by critics as one of the best albums of 1995 and 2Pac's most personal work to date. composed of leftovers from "Thug Life Vol.1" recorded during the period between '93 and '94, "Me Against The World" was released while Pac was serving a one-and-a-half to four-and-a-half year sentence for sexual abuse. one of the most obvious and eerie themes of "Me Against The World" was Pac spittin' so prolifically about his own death. Pac and his Outlawz has been involved in shootings before, but as if predicting the future, songs like "If I Die 2Nite", "Lord Knows" and "Outlaw" directly referenced 2Pac going through a shooting which would result in his death, which happened in 1996. the album debuted at No.1 on the Billboard 200, selling over 240,000 copies in its first week. it was certified double platinum by the end of 1996, and was later recognized by the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame as "one of the most influential and popular albums" in recent music history. "Me Against The World" remains Pac's most positively reviewed album and a certified classic. what's y'all thoughts on this album???!!!... #2pac #meagainsttheworld #westcoasthiphop #losangelesCA #pac #makaveli #thuglife #outlawz #dearmama #somanytears #temptations #westside #classic #legendary #90shiphop #realhiphoponly #fuckmumblerap #1995 #RIP2pac
