Released in 1995, back when the Wu-Tang Clan could do no wrong, "Return To The 36 Chambers" showcased the many sides of Ol' Dirty Bastard aka Dirt McGirt and about a million other nicknames!. whatever side of his personality he was showcasing Ol' Dirty did it to the extreme. when he plays the role of a street tough on tracks like "Brooklyn Zoo" and "Snakes" he's the scariest guy to ever terrorize the streets of the ghetto. when he's rapping on how ill he is on the mic on "Don't You Know" and "The Stomp" he could DEFINITELY rhyme his ass off. regardless if he rhymes about killing, sex or partying, his rhyme flow was always unique. this album has the most raw and grimy beats that RZA has ever laid down it is street, bangin' and funny at the same time when you hear "Return Of The 36 Chambers" it reminds you of a comedy movie cuz that's how amazing this album really is. definitely a Wu masterpiece highly recommended for fans of classic 90's New York hip hop. what's y'all thoughts on this album???!!!... #oldirtybastard #returntothe36chambers #eastcoasthiphop #brooklynNY #wutang #ODB #brooklynzoo #shimmyshimmyya #wu #shaolin #killabees #classic #legendary #90shiphop #realhiphoponly #fuckmumblerap #1995 #RIPoldirtybastard
