I thought today I would share a video link to one of my favorite Nahko Bear songs. If you are not familiar with Nahko I encourage you to explore. He heads a band known as Medicine for the People. You can find their work on YouTube as well as other sources.
While living on the Big Island of Hawaii my wife and I operated a fresh salsa booth at the local Hilo Farmers Market. On the sidewalk out front I would often see local people sit and play music. This is where I first met Nahko around 7 years ago. He is an awe inspiring person with a magical ability to shape life into lyrics and song. I have spent much time with the tribe in their early days and I have watched them blossom into what they are today. I saw them last year live and they have grown so much.
So with that I hope you try out the song and enjoy the beautiful lyrics and sounds. I hope everyone has been having a blessed day and may we all be fortunate enough to raise our heads again tomorrow.
