In 2015, ethnomusicologist and Samba Fest co-ordinator Eric Galm produced this documentary on the Meninos de Minas, a musical group and social project that involves youths from the Minas Gerais region of Brazil.

The Meninos de Minas were a headlining act at Samba Fest 2015, and continue to be active in their home region of Minas Gerais, Brazil.

Samba Fest 2018 will take place April 26 - 28 in Hartford, Connecticut, with the venue and performers yet to be announced.
