Designing album art

In May this year I released an EP on @lk666 ‘s label https://circleofdeathrecords.com/
Since then I’ve been working on putting tracks together for a full length album with intentions to release it before the end of the year. So far I’ve got 9 tracks down with 2 or 3 more in the pipeline, My 4 track EP that I released most likely fits into the category of metal core (besides the last track) which most definitely isn’t for everyone and is kind of a niche style but for whatever reason that’s where I ended up. So far the new album I’m working on has a similar metal core vibe on most tracks but I’ve definitely started branching out with more synth/electronic elements.

So! .... ive been tinkering around with photo shop and trying to develop a piece of album art.
This is the background I’m gonna be using. It’s a photo I took on the way home from a 12hr night shift.

And this is a photo of me that I thought would be fitting for an album cover.

I’ve combined the two pictures and done some enhancements.

Then inverted the colour scheme ....

And that’s it ... for now . I have had a play with a few different colour schemes , but the above picture is my favourite so far. I’d love to hear what y’all think.
