Awesome little video series you got going on here. I Didn't realize you were a film composer. I used to do a bit of that myself using logic 9. ( is not as awesome as X as I'm seeing here...
Curious... what factor(s) did u consider when choosing your tempo for this?

Nice, thank @jaybird.
For the tempo, it really depends on what is happening in the film and finding hit points (so points where major things happen in the film) and moving the music around these.
The best film music is silent to the audience so the music just has to really blend in with the film.

Indeed, i've heard that saying many a times, although I don't always agree with it. Sometimes a badass song is what makes the scene. OR, the music is an integral part of the scene and guides it etc.
I know it's not necessarily meant to be taken full force all of the time lol, however for cinematic stuff it's a pretty good outcome to strive for ~

This was really interesting. I'll have a go at making some music myself with this. Always need a good score with videos and using copyright free stuff doesn't always fit just right.

Nice, thanks @molometer.
Yes, sometimes just writing your own music to a moving image can work a lot better, plus it's a lot more rewarding and fun :)
