My this week's musical inside tip is about the new band around the former Judas Priest singer Tim 'The Ripper' Owens. Before he sang for Judas Priest from 1997 to 2003 (when Rob Halford came back to Judas Priest) Owens started his career in his Judas Priest coverband "British Steel". And currently he's singing in his new band which this post is about. They'll release their first album "Spirits of Fire" next friday (Feb. 22nd 2019):
According to the label the music can best be described as “classic Priest meets Savatage”. AND THAT'S WHAT IT IS!
