Good afternoon, Steemians!
I am by no means a good pianist, but I do have a keyboard and like to play $h¡t from time to time. I came across I song I really like, "Hypocritical Kiss" by Jack White. The fingering is actually kind of tricky if you are a novice pianist like me, but I gave some of it a shot here in this video. I basically strapped my iPhone and tripod to my shirt to record this (ghetto AF) but it works.
I don't know the musical terminology, but there is a part where you have to do eighth notes with your right hand, while your left hand is doing quarter notes, and you are going back and forth playing the notes (not playing both at the same time). This was one of those things I had to work on for like 20 minutes just repeating the same thing so I could train myself to do it. It's pretty hard if you haven't done it before.
Anyway, hope you enjoy. I noticed that nobody had a tutorial on YouTube for how to play this song, just covers. Maybe this will help someone out there. I skipped the intro because I couldn't figure the whole descending chord part. I just kind of listened to the song and tried my best, so it is what it is lol. I will link the original song as well as my video below.
