One of the greatest concerts I have ever seen on TV, which made an huge impression, was the World Liberty concert in Arnheim , the Netherlands. This concert was given in honour of the 50 years of liberation of Europe after the second worldwar. The show was hosted by Walter Cronkite, a famous war-reporter. I thought the song of John Farnham and the way he singed it just said it all.

we are the voice, the voice of a free Europe, better a free World

The concert was broadcasted in more than 30 countries and there were huge acts like Simon Garfunkel, Cindy Lauper, Alan Parsons and many many more... Really a concert to remember....

History says lots of stuff happened during that time of war, lives lost, families displaced.....
After 50 years of liberation, this was the greatest thing they could do to turn the pages and write new stories.

We have the chance to turn the pages over
We can write what we want to write
We gotta make ends meet, before we get much older

He sang it so well. Great song thanks for sharing.

He did a great job, with compassion and devotion. Thanks for your reply !!
