Some great musician's, just before sleep :)

I was driving home today and my brother had made a Whats-app group. He finally is arranging that we can jam together, he on drums, his brother in law and nephew on guitar and me on bass. It will be a kind of bluesy / rocky setting....

He asked us in the app to name two songs which we could play, so we should have about 8 songs for the first time... So I took my spotify and was just checking some songs.... Which songs do you like the most, perhaps I will make a recording on video of our Jam with your named song :)

Joe Bonamassa - Django

This was the first live footage I saw of Joe Bonamassa. It's so intens... Listening to this makes me humble...

ZZ Top - Fool for your stockings

Just a straight up blues. Great tune to drift away in the music.....

Joe Bonamassa - Sloe Gin

Again a great vibe in this song. You can build this song from a tiny small song into a explosion of guitar and drums...

Gary Moore - Red House

One of my all time favorites. The passion of Gary Moore is just amazing....He breaths music....

G3 - Going Down

The ultimate "Go nuts on your instrument" song.....

So, which 2 do you prefer :) Let me know in the comments... And who know's will you see them soon here on Steemit in our jam session :)

Have a great sunny day

Joe seems to have built a massive following without breaking through to the mainstream. He really does feel the blues. I haven't seen any of these live, but I have been to the Albert Hall a few times. I like a good blues and they are fun to play. Not sure I can pick just 2 though. Go for what feels right.

Yes he did, he plays in May again in Carre Theater in Amsterdam. I had the luck to see him twice live, once in the Heineken Music Hall in Amsterdam and once in Groningen, in the Oosterpoort. The show in the Heineken Music hall was the best. In Groningen it looked and sounded a bit like he needed a holiday :) , but he sure does feel the blues. I love his guitarsound, that almost painfull sound of blues. To play blues is great, it gives you freedom to improvise and try things without beeing punished by the music when it goes wrong :) But for me for now I would go for Django and fool for your stockings :)

wow really awesome videos of great musician's friend..
