Spotify Bans R. Kelly and XXXTentacion From Playlists Over “Hateful Conduct”

Spotify has removed R. Kelly and XXXTentacion from playlists and recommendation features, citing its new policy on “Hate Content and Hateful Conduct.” Plenty of other artists who’ve been accused of violent sexual conduct in the past (James Brown, Michael Jackson, Red Hot Chili Peppers), however, remain unaffected.
