Joey Jordison Willing to Join Again With Slipknot

Former Slipknot drummer, Joey Jordison, told Metal Hammer that he would not refuse to rejoin the band. 

"To be honest, I do not mean to be dramatic, but if the topic is lifted, what I want to do is get back together, I want to see them, forget what ever happened and feel the energy we had when we were young and so excited," Jordison said.

"They are my brothers, maybe we can talk to each other and do things the way we used to, we used to sit down all night discussing the things we wanted to do, so that's what I want to do again," he said.

Jordison also admitted that he liked Slipknot's latest album, .5: The Gray Chapter, which is Slipknot's first album in the absence of Jordison as a drummer. 

"I have heard the whole album several times." "And I think it's a great album, it's really cool and I'm glad they can keep going." "I'm glad they went on Slipknot, because the important thing is the fans," Jordison told Metal Hammer.

Jordison was fired from Slipknot in 2013. Last week, while receiving the Golden Gods Awards Golden Hills trophy at the 2016 Golden Gods Awards event, Jordison revealed that the real reason he needed to leave Slipknot in 2013 was a disease called transverse myelitis he suffered.  

The disease is an inflammation of the spine that can cause neurological disorders and muscle paralysis. It's very fatal for Jordison who occupied the position as a drummer in the band.
