Shawn Crahan - Slipknot 6th New Album Could Be The Last Album

Slipknot continues to write material for their 6th studio album, Shawn "Clown" Crahan says If the album will be their last album.

We already know Shawn, along with guitarist Jim Root and drummer Jay Weinberg has written new material when Corey Taylor frontman concentrates on Stone Sour.  

Crahan told Metal Hammer in October that they had "seven or eight" ready full songs - and in a new interview on The Jasta Show, the percussionists reported that he was in a reflective mood, adding: "This can happen for me. "

Shawn Crahan said (through Metal Injection): "I just spent four months thinking about my life and where I am now because I'm in a really honest place to acknowledge what I do not want."

"Many bring all these emotions to art and music, and frankly, the music we are writing now is proof of looking inward and being able to put the first foot down and say, 'We will do something for ourselves and write.'"

"So we've written and the music is coming out I feel strange things coming but it's always like that for people like us - we engage in our notes and the sky suddenly changes."
