These 3 Songs will Change You & Getting You Back To Action

Everyone has had their fair share of ups and downs in life and over here, I would like to share some of the most impactful soundtracks that I would like to introduce to anyone when feeling down or need some motivation.

I have a whole list of Movie Soundtracks pieces on my iPod and I have never change the list much.

I will start off from the tracks for people who want to stand back up, and continue their journey despite the face failure and challenges.

1.Burning Heart by Survivor - Rocky II

This song will always remain on my list of favorites. Whenever I listen to this track it is just awesome.

The music accompanying this song is awesome and it's upbeat. And this song is a lot about winning.

Part of the lyrics:

In the burning heart
Just about to burst
There's a quest for answers
An unquenchable thirst

Just from this part of the lyrics alone, it has a lot to do with having that fire, the thirst and hunger to go on a quest.

In the warrior's code
There's no surrender
Though his body says stop
His spirit cries, never!

Deep in the soul
A quiet amber
Know it's you against you

As for this part of the lyrics, it's about challenging ourselves to go the distance and having that spirit to make us go forward, breaking new grounds.

In the heat of the attack
It's the passion that kills

This part acts like a reminder to me that during the heat of an attack or any challenges that we may face in our life, remember that passion that is always in us that can push us to get that victory.

2.Hearts On Fire by John Cafferty - Rocky IV

This track is one of my all-time favorites. Most especially when I'm exercising or doing my distance runs.

This track is featured in Rocky IV when Rocky (Sylvester Stallone) was doing his workouts in a farmhouse in Russia. The cinematics jives well with the song on the part where "Hearts On Fire, Strong Desire....". Well, it just keeps me moving.

Part of the lyrics has phrases that make sense like

The cave that holds you captive has no doors

Time will not allow you to stand still, no
Silence breaks the heart and bend the will
And things that give deep passions are your sword

To me, this song is ideal for exercising and getting anyone back into action. Setting your heart on fire and have that strong desire for success.

3.Eye of the Tiger by Survivor - Rocky III

This track is also my all-time favorite for pumping myself up with the drive to accomplish anything. This song has a lot of phrases such as

You trade your passion for glory
Don't lose grip on the dreams of the past
You must fight just to keep them alive

Face to face, out in the heat
Hanging tough, staying hungry
It's the eye of the tiger, it's the dream of the fight
Rising up to the challenge of our rival
Rising up, straight to the top

Had the guts, got the glory
Went the distance, now I'm not gonna stop
Just a man and his will to survive

This song is well matched with the beat of the drums and instruments playing in the back. It has a lot of meaning that relates to surviving and having that drive to attack the challenges by facing them with the courage that each of us has inside.

I hope these 3 songs work for you!

Survivor songs are great. I think that Rocky III without "Eyes of the Tiger" hasn't been the same. It's really powerful.

Hello @calisay! Thank you for commenting! Totally agree with you, "Eyes of the Tiger" is an awesome and powerful song, without it, Rocky III wouldn't be that great.
