This March's concert is Kreator. Of course a glitch came buying tix. One site had high price and just payed 2 months worth of phone bill. Went to a cheaper site and there was a glitch but money debited. It should sort itself as it's not for about 10 days from now.
I've gone to a music show in March every year since 2015. The first was an amazing spiritual experience of seeing the band Ministry ! They are of the great seminal underground Industrial music groups. Ministry started in the 70's! When your in the bathroom Ministry sounds like a punk band, when you get closer to the beer stands they sound more like a heavy metal band, then when you get down to the floor they sound like an Industrial band! I was so blessed to be there, even have a whole story but never shared it. Might keep that one to myself.
The next band in March!? 2016.hmmm...can't remember exactly. I know I saw Saul Williams and also Electric Six..ooh they both played at the same venue at different dates. Both kick ass acts!! Superb. Saul Williams is my favorite rapper since 2pac and Electric Six are a great sort of joke band, but they're not a joke cause they got style and have great social commentary through their act.
So Kreator is on Nuclear Blast! I saw another artist currently on the Nuclear Blast label recently - Nightwish. Maybe they are the mysterious 2nd March act. One of my most favorite Metal acts with a female lead. Another artist on Nuclear Blast is Surgical Meth Machine and I love their record! It's a concept by Al Jourgensen the frontman of Ministry!
It's All related and I like that. These last years have been good for me with music. I think Kreator may be the last heavy metal act I see. I like em better than Metallica or Megadeth. I have enjoyed Industrial music allot in the last few years. It's inspiring me to breakout as well. What would a tribute band do!? Take a sad song and make it better! - Another funny kind of band I will go see this year is Beatallica! They are a mix between The Beatles and Metallica! So awesome. When my mom was homeless I cheered her up by quoting some Beatallica lyrics. She hates Beatles but loves Metallica! I got a good laugh from her. Also took mom to see Nightwish and also took her to see Tool when she wasn't on any meds. We do have our musical adventures for sure!
So hope I'm not going too coocoo crazy on music symbolism eh!? I have schizophrenia lite. I was listening to the new Kreator song Satan Is Real and well I know all my friends worship Satan and that's why I don't seem them as often. I still will try to visit from time to time. They forgot their childhood memories! Well I remember mine. This song reminds me of when my Mom told me Satan Is Real! Then I had a bogged down dream where I was in contact with Satan. I was smothered and held down by force by an obscured entity in the distance. The eyes were piercing and black even though I could not make out a face! There were ware mists all around me. I felt myself blacking out, fading out, being suffocated, as in almost like dying! then I woke up. Here is the song by Kreator that re-invokes that childhood memory in a flash!!
So if all goes well and I get the ticket glitch sorted out and get the Kreator ticket, I will do a review of my experience of it. If the glitch goes badly I can just try to get another ticket somewhere else. Wish me luck. So that's the 3x3 The 3 acts on Nuclear Blast and the 3 acts I've seen in successive March's! Multiply the number of opening acts combined in the last 3 years of the 3 3's about 9. That sounds about right. Coming from 6.59Prime Excepted - my dream act for myself. The ultimate tribute act extraordinaire that sounds nothing like the others. That's the dream!
