Incubus - Make Yourself

Make Yourself is the third album (second full studio album technically, but who's counting?) by American alt rock band Incubus, and was released all the way back in October 1999, which is bloody nearly 20 years ago! This record went 3x platinum in Australia, which is their only album to date to achieve that. I think it's possibly my favourite of all their works, possibly closely followed by S.C.I.E.N.C.E., which was their second album. It's also been certified Gold and Platinum in quite a few countries scattered all over the globe.
If you're a fan of your late 90s/early 00s nu metal or alt rock, then I highly recommend this album to you. It's full of absolutely amazing songs, including Make Yourself, Pardon Me and Stellar, all of which are songs worthy of a bit of your time. It's quite easy to pick up the Tour Edition of this album for just a couple of quid (or dollars, or your currency of choice).
It's really hard to pick a favourite song from this album, but Drive was certainly the most successful single so here's Drive for your aural consideration. It's also their only song to have reached the top 10 in the US Billboard Hot 100, which is quite an accomplishment for an alt rock band, as well as being a downloadable extra for one of the Guitar Hero games (I forget which one). Pardon Me is probably the most "emo" song, and maybe my actual favourite. You just gotta love a bit of that emo tuneage.

Incubus are great, but one of those bads that kinda got repetitive/unoriginal after a while. After 'a crow left of the murder' for me. Tried one of their newer albums a while back and got bored! S.c.i.e.n.c.e is brilliant so experimental and heavy! Turned a bit pop 😣

I'm with you, I've not been able to listen to anything after a crow... except 8 which is their most recent album. I think it came out last year, definitely give it a go if you haven't already. Not like the first 3/4 albums, but I enjoyed it.
