Cheesy Keys.jpg
I'll keep this short, but embroider as time goes on, perhaps some will find it entertaining.
So, here I was in all my glory, (here on Steemit as TVulgaris) AKA Mr. Cheesy Keys, AKA Charlie Manson's Evil Twin, Somebody Else, and as of tonight's practice with the Cyber Cats, "dat guy", and a number of other incredibly clever (but more likely simply stupid) stage names. This photo was taken at Holi (the Festival of Colors), the first at New Vrindaban, West Virginia (I think this was 2012), which was an utterly beautiful day the second weekend in September. I'm not sure which set/ group this was, probably Nam Rock, but I think I played with three of the bands that year.

Music has pretty much muscled out nearly everything else in my life, so it'll be awkward to put together a concise introduction outside of that context, but a few CV...
I've been involved in technical fields since high school, as a lab tech, a junior engineer, a contractor, and operated my own small business continuously since 1991. Computers/IT was much more of a sideline to materials engineering until the early '90's for me, but I necessarily had to delve into them more and more, to the point I've had computer repair as an important branch of my business for nearly 20 years.

I'd heard some rumblings about STEEM last year, and loved the idea, but hadn't pursued it at all until Bob Greenyer (@homosymbion, a major force in the Martin Fleischman Memorial project (@mfmp here)), promoting it on the various alt-energy/LENR blogs and pages, finally stirred me to action, as some of his very important experimental work is posted here. Yet another reason for me to upvote you every chance I get, Bob. Stay crazed and brilliant, it makes it harder for "The Man" to keep you down...
I'm mostly here for the social experiment steemit represents, the potential breakage of the predatory program of TPTB
and potential for a new social model that might extract social value from the prison of money (in general, and fiat in particular) and other third-order social constructs it has become entrenched in over the past few centuries, at least to attach it more firmly to first-order social constructs such as property, capability/competence, intelligence, etc.
Finding a way to do that has stumped me for decades, but I'll willingly contribute to this effort.
Perhaps I'll contribute some sleazy lounge jazz, any interest?
