Plus, moves for the Chainsmokers & Selena Gomez.

Kygo debuts at No. 8 on Billboard's Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart (dated Dec. 26) with "Stay," featuring Maty Noye. It's the second top 10 for Norwegian trop-house DJ Kygo, following "Firestone" (featuring Conrad), which also reached No. 8, in October (in its 27th chart week). "Stay" starts with 21,000 downloads sold, according to Nielsen Music, the most Kygo has sold in a single tracking week. "Stay" additionally debuts at No. 2 on Dance/Electronic Digital Songs, also a career high.

In addition to "Firestone" and "Stay," Kygo has notched four other Hot Dance/Electronic Songs hits, all in 2015: "ID (Ultra Music Festival 2015 Official Anthem)" (No. 32); "Stole the Show," featuring Parson James (No. 11); "Coming Over," credited to Dillon Francis & Kygo featuring James Hersey (No. 16); and "Here for You," featuring Ella Henderson (No. 12).

"Stay" marks the first Billboard chart action for featured vocalist Noyes (a native of Corinth, Miss.) The track, at No. 2 on Norway Digital Songs and No. 8 on Sweden Digital Songs, also debuts on Dance/Electronic Streaming Songs (No. 13).

COMING UP: 'ROSES':

The Chainsmokers rise 3-2 on Hot Dance/Electronic Songs with "Roses," featuring Rozes. The recipient of Digital and Airplay Gainer honors, "Roses" blooms by 18 percent to 34,000 sold and by 29 percent to 30 million in all-format radio audience. Elsewhere, "Roses" ranks at No. 1 on Dance/Electronic Digital Songs for a fourth week and holds at No. 3 on both Dance/Mix Show Airplay and Dance/Electronic Streaming Songs. The Chainsmokers' also keep chugging toward the mainstream, as "Roses" roars 36-29 on the Billboard Hot 100 and debuts at No. 38 on Radio Songs.

'SAME OLD' SUCCESS:

Last week, Selena Gomez sailed into the top 10 on Dance/Mix Show Airplay with "Same Old Love" (12-9). This week, the track hits the top five (9-4). It's Gomez's third track to reach that plateau, following her featured turn on Zedd's "I Want You to Know" (No. 2 in May) and, back in 2010, her No. 1 "Naturally" (billed to Selena Gomez & the Scene). Remixes of "Same" from Borgore, Filous, Wuki and Romos were released Nov. 20.
