It's been a busy week in the-gorilla household as we welcomed the-baby-gorilla into the family. And this track has an amusing tale. Press play below and listen to the track whilst I ramble on a bit.

As I mentioned above, on Wednesday, we had a new arrival. We thought long and hard about what music to have playing in the delivery room and most of my suggestions were considered inappropriate so instead of creating a playlist, I decided to let the Gods decide.

And they did not fail me. Only moments before our new arrival, this song came onto the radio. The 1st line being:

Baby, this is what you came for.

How apt.

Congrats man 👏👏

I was thinking that you seemed to be on radio silence!!

How many kids do you have now?

2 and we're done! 2 boys so I'm optimistic things will be easier (once we get through the 1st bit). Utterly, utterly exhausted!

Oh i know that feeling man!! First 6 weeks are usually tough and then things straighten out... hopefully that's the case for you guys.. we are also done!! 🤣

🙂 2's enough. You have to be crazy or one horny MOFO to keep going after that point.

We're in the hardest bit now. Learning how the baby is and the overly emotional mrs-gorilla combined with levels of tiredness only a new parent can understand make for pretty tough going!

You have to be crazy or one horny MOFO ✔✔

Ah ya the tiredness is a bitch, but usually gets easier after around 6 weeks I find. At least you wont have loads of family and friends in on top of ye to see the baby because of Covid..

Things have improved a lot over the past couple of days - he's more settled at night than he was so fingers crossed we're getting somewhere!

At least you wont have loads of family and friends in on top of ye
