And for today's 2nd track, continuation of the electronic dance music and Reading Festival theme. As usual, open the link below in a new window to play the track whilst you hear my story.
I absolutely worshipped The Prodigy when I was younger, considering Liam Howlett an absolute genius. This is another group that I got to see live in 1998, playing on the main stage at Reading. I remember bouncing around having the time of my life when I bumped (literally) into a friend from school. I seem to bump into people a lot.
The only difficulty was choosing a track that would do them justice from their 1997 album "Fat of the Land". I love this album and Diesel Power is my favourite track. I mentioned that Liam Howlett's a genius, the way this bass drops and rumbles in the background is awesome. Pump up the bass, get the volume up and enjoy the vibrations!
