Commonly Senseless - Next From Rise: 2017's free video project

Every year I do 1 video for no charge. When I was in my early 20's I was making hip-hop with my friends. All we ever wanted was to make 1 music video for our music. But this was the early 2000's and this was, mostly, an unreachable goal. Years later I became a music video director/producer. I made a decision that I would find an up-and-coming artist who deserves a music video every year.

For 2017 I decided Commonly Senseless was the person who deserves this video. He had always shown true love for the Columbus, OH Hip-Hop community. He shows up to the shows he is not playing, he hangs out until everyone has left, and he sometimes buys drinks for people for no reason. He is truly a giving person.

Once I realized I would be doing this project I got in touch with T.J. Boster who is currently my go-to Director Of Photography. We both agreed that Senseless needed a cool video and we would team up to make it happen. Senseless threw a few ideas our way, we put it all together and shot it in a day. I was originally going to edit it myself but real work got in the way. So T.J. stepped up and laid a super slick cut.

Currently, I have not made a decision on who will get a free video from me this year. But this is only the second quarter, so who knows what will happen. I couldn't have been prouder of Senseless's appreciation for our work. And I really hope you check him out, link below. We plan on adding him to some of the shows on my upcoming tour.
