That song...
... changed my musical tastes forever.
That album cover...
... incited me to draw clones of Eddie on each school table I was sit at, and then draw, and draw, and draw... And that's why I love so much using graphite on wood nowadays.
When I discovered them, nobody had told me before that anything like that could exist...
I was maybe 12 or 13. (Screw that ! 30 years ago ! :D )
I remember stumbling upon that living-dead character printed on the tape cover laying in the store shelf...
Until then, the only association between zombies and music I had ever seen was Michael Jackson's "Thriller" clip.
I didn't know what kind of sound was waiting for me in there, I didn't have any money to buy it, but I did just feel some urge to get this album...
And... well... I was a kleptomaniac kid by then : so I got it :p
From this point, I became a monomaniac fan of Maiden during one or two years, completely addicted to this sound flowing endlessly through my autoreverse walkman's headset (I was sleeping with it on my head :D )

I didn't listen to them since years until now, and hearing again that spoken intro made me shiver :D
