Day 1:

Roxette - Joyride

I have been invited to this challenge by @paganlord. thanks again therefore.
As my first song in this challenge I choose Roxette with Joyride (to my readers / followers from the dark side: It will become darker, don't be afraid). In our music lesson in high-school in the early 90ties once we did modern music and every pupil of my class was allowed to bring his favourite song to school and show it to the rest of the class. Until then I didn't listen to any music at all. I prefered listening to an audio drama series named Jan Tenner which I still think it's great. But I wander from the subject. So back to it: I was impressed mainly by two songs:

  • Bonnie Tyler - Holding out for a Hero
  • and much more by Roxette - Joyride

I liked (and still like) it because of their powerful combination of pop & rock, their melodies, their colorful shows & outfits (I wanted to paint my room in blue, red & yellow (by the way I hate pastell colors), Marie's Haircut) and oh, the song is over!

joy enjoy the Joyride

I nominate @deus-lo-vult.

The rules:
