Why do some people never find their dream job?

This reminds me of one of my favorite authors : Eckhart Tolle. And the book that changed my life path in a huge way.

The title of the book is "A New Earth - awakening to your life's purpose".

I know now, over 10 years after reading that book, that eventually, I will end up working at a "job" that is not just an occupation, but a calling.

It will have something to do with helping others find meaning in their lives.

It will have something to do with helping people connect to their own true self.

I didn't understand pretty much anything he was talking about for a long time but there was this Little "spark" inside me that just kept expanding and growing and as it grew, my "life" as I saw it back then kept on Diminishing.

I got higher paying salaried jobs than I ever had before.

Still no joy.

I got divorced during that time and wandered from job to job, place to place, sometimes making a lot and at others making next to nothing.

Then, at a certain point, I began to realise just what Eckhart was talking about when he said that everything matters, but only relatively.

If your dream job is one that you imagine will make you happy through monitary means, this may happen for you if you are already deeply content with who you are and have a clear understanding inside (it's more of a feeling actually, at least for me anyway) of just what you are here for.

But, and there it is, that "however" that always lurks, if you have not done the soul searching, felt and lived your emotional blockages, rid yourself of theinner negative commentary which is the standard mental construct of your average "human being" you may perhaps be destined to never find your dream job, because something will always be missing.

That unexplainable joy that comes from doing what you are passionately aware of as your "real job" which has no earthly value in terms of compensation.

Once you are deeply aware of your "self" and all the negative cycles it takes you through, including jobs you think you will be happy and in your "dream life" with, then you won't be finding that job until you awaken to the real you.
Then it will just happen, and your dreams will come true.

Just by being the real you..
