Any cryptocurrency according to me is going to have a good future. Definitely bitcoin will top that list. And we can definitely trust the top 10 cryptocurrencies. We have to understand that potential of a cryptocurrency is not determined based on how well it is traded in the market. At the same time we will not be able to say that just because a cryptocurrency is traded very well in the market, it will have a bright future. Though in a way it can work out, it need not necessarily be the mantra.
For example we will be able to read and understand that IoT is definitely going to be the future but the cryptocurrency MIOTA is not doing very great. So here we get two different perspectives. Though there is a bright future for a blockchain project, it doesn't really mean that the cryptocurrency will become the top crypto currency in the market.
I have invested a lot on Ripple expecting it to provide me good returns. There are few reasons why I invested on Ripple instead of other cryptocurrencies. The main expectation here for me is, when Bitcoin was emerging I missed the bus. I don't want to miss anything again in spite of understanding their potential.
If Bitcoin is floating around 7200 now, I would say it is a great opportunity for people who are planning to do a fresh investment. If they are lucky they will enjoy the fruit when the value reaches 8000 mark or 8500 mark. Whatever it is, we will need lots of patience.
I know I have not provided a convincing answer for you. But I have tried to provide you a perspective so that you can do your own analysis and stay self motivated. That's what most of the people here have been doing.
My guess, and it is only a guess, is that it will keep fluctuating up and down, gradually gaining momentum until the end of the year when it will either go through the roof, or the flippening will take place.
What, you say, is the flippening? That is the point where another cryptocurrency overtakes Bitcoin in market value. What coin will that be? There is another question of value that I'm not sure anyone has a definite answer to.
My guess is that it will most likely be something predictable like ETH or XRP. Less likely is ADA or LTC. Even less likely but possible is something driven by the Korean market like OMG or NEO.
Overall I think as the end of the year the whole crypto market will float higher, although most won't duplicate last end of years explosion.
There maybe one or two exceptions. I'm hoping Steem is on that list.
Cryptocurrency is a very Volatile Market so there is no certainty that Bitcoin will hold it's value or it will just go off. If you remember the last Bull Run it just came withing a Week or two so you can see how quick the tides can change.

I believe that the bitcoin current resistance levels is around 7200$-7800$ and if the bitcoin price can
successfully break that that resistance level upwards then it means it is going to start a bull run and people
who bought the bitcoin at a cheaper rate can start taking their profits before the bearish trend will start
again...but i think the bitcoin market right now do not
have any specific direction until the bitcoin price breaks
the resistance level or continues with the bearish trend that have been occuring for several weeks.....
