I second this.
If you want to "control" this, the best way is to stop.
I have a relative with a gambling addiction, it is sad to watch a >20 year long and onging addiction to destroy a live and lead to total loss of a normal live.
I heard her talking about "finally controling it" and only playing a set amount of games or money per month to often to not know that this only works when the gambling made her money. If she lost she will just continue to try winning back the losses like always. And ofc this can not work out because the game is always in favour of the house ;)
