Authors get paid when people like you upvote their post.
If you enjoyed what you read here, create your account today and start earning FREE STEEM!
Sort Order:

there are many projects related to steemit. You can win both steem and steem power by participating in these projects. What are these:

utopian.io : you can earn by contributing to open source software.

Dtube: You can win by shooting videos.

dsound: You can win by sharing sounds with original content.

How profitable is it to make video's on Dtube? The platform is still very young. Are there any people doing this fulltime?

Get out there in the Steemit community, make connections. Comment on people's blogs and engage, join Discords and make friends with people.

Another great way to make some Steem power is to take a small amount of Steem, say 3 or 4, and keep putting that into bidbots. Whenever you receive the payout for that post, start powering down your Steem power and you will have more Steem then you started with.

Create quality engaging and original contents (write, music, video or anything), engage around with communities (discord, steemit.chat) and steemians from all around the world, collaborate and build up your own project on Steem blockchain is the best way to earn more STEEM or STEEM power!

Join competition is also another way too as a side post and you'll find lots of them in Steemit. Having the mindset of giving back to the community is also very important as Steemians do not like to just support people who do not contribute back.

Cheers 😁

Earning steem is easy if you'd dedicate your time and effort to the task. There are several ways I can recommend but it will be based on your preferences and what you are good at.

First, you have to write about something you know very well. It is making money, writing fiction, football?  When people see you know what you are talking about, like you are an authority in your own right, they'll upvote you. However, you can only achieve this by being consistent and keeping to your niche. Don't cross-carpet with every post. Today you[re all about fashion, tomorrow its about wildlife hunting. People will run far away from your blog (except you're a whale of course).

Then, there are some platforms that vote people really well if you write what they like and support. Are you a science nerd? Then write scientific posts and use steemstem tag. They will upvote you if you follow their guidelines

Are you into sport (like I am), then write sport post using sprtshub.io, you'll get an upvote if your post is approved.

Also, you could consider using the esteem app and adding esteem as one of your tags. They upvote from time to time and their upvote can be massive at times.

Busy.org also rewards those that follow them and use their tags too.

There you have it. But then again, musing.io is a pretty good shot as well!

Have fun in your steemit journey
