Politics is a good despite what we see in today's politics.
The one who desires a political office desires a good thing. It's nice when people feel the burden, the need to better the life of others around them by taking up political offices and making decisions that will improve the lives of people
Well, am not involved in politics because I have never be interested in it but I do encourage people who wants to go into it.
The politics we see today is all about people, most times perceived opponents, digging into the other's life just to find faults, errors.
I'm not about to have my life ransacked and my privacy invaded because I'm a political office holder.
Politics is the game for those who want, or who can endure, to have their lives continually scrutinized, your privacy been invaded all the time.
Another thing is politics would barely give you alone time. I value my privacy above everything else. I prefer to spend time alone and meditatiing than being with people, thats why I love quiet environment.
Another thing about politics that turns me off is the fact that enemies are made more than friends. I have examined the lives of some politicians, even those that are doing well. They seem to be the ones that are at the receiving ends of scuffles, tantrums and hate-speeches. i don't think I will be able to live with that.
Politics is a game an not ready to play and it's a risk am not willing to play.
So, in conclusion, politics is a no-go area for me. If I want to make efforts, like contribute my quota towards better living from everyone, I will find other means to do so like starting my own charity organizations, building companies to provide jobs and also create foundation that will;
- Empower the women with education and responsibility
- Empower the youth with free or affordable education.
