How do you find real questions on Musing?

I have been trying to use Musing lately, but it feels like 99 % of all the posts follow the current formula:

Account 1 ask question with a title directly stolen from the title of a Quora question.
Account 2 then copy-pastes an answer from the same Quora page.

It's obvious that this is just people who spam in hopes to get upvotes from @musing, and it's also pretty obvious to me that these accounts are ran by the same people.

So how do we find real questions here on Musing? I'm starting to get very disencourged from using Musing all together with the current situation, because it's no use to spend my time replying to a spambot that just wants to milk money from @musing upvotes.

Recently, the spammers and plagiarizers have really ramped up their behaviors. We are well aware and have just added our own algorithm for detecting plagiarism. We give it a 110% effort to NOT upvote these plagiarized answers.

Additionally, we will be putting bans on these users. Any user that gets the ban will no longer have his posts appear on Musing.io. This will go into effect very very soon.

Thank you! This is exactly what I wanted to hear.

My experience with Musing was great at the beginning, but the spammers have really ruined for me now, so this ban function will hopefully make it a great place again.

The Steem Blockchain is immutable, that's true. But that does not mean platforms arent able to filter the signal from the noise. We'll soon see a much less spammy and much higher quality content on this platform.

Musing is still pretty much an MVP, so us early users really will have to bear the brunt of the bullshit that an early platform will face, abuse, spam, bugs, all that and 101 other things no one can predict.

I have full confidence in Musing though.. It's gonna be one of the Steem killer apps for sure.

So-ka ... you know i REALLY like your platform here, its clean and to the point, not too much bells and jingles with a decent agreeable layout as a bonus, focused on the information first (you hear it coming, right ?) but ...

You say algorithm so i assume that's automatic, dont you feel that's a bit dangerous ? I'm certainly not going to ask you to explain the mechanics. What if two people come up with the same question for instance ? Can it be abused by a troll to get someone else banned for instance ?

and if someone gets banned, how do they appeal if they feel it was wrong ? :)

always concerned about trolls and quality control lol , keep it man (or woman ...) or proably : people !

Searching questions by tag still allows the spam to show. My definition of a real question is one asked by a user that genuinely wants to know the answer, and not a question asked by a spambot who just fish for upvotes.

you definately have a very nice question but you know what it takes times to settle things , musing giving people chance to interact and ask questions which you want to know and answer those questions which are you actually be aware of, but people take it for granted they just cant understand , this is a platform which is helping you and also giving you money to get help. for ex i have joined steemit 20 days back and i dont know that how to work so i started asking question which i need to know and not copying any question from quora because then what should be the purpose of musing.

I also like the name "Musing" as a question and answer platform because it's so apt.

Musing (noun) - period of reflection or deep thoughts.

When someone say "He is musing over something", it means the person is thinking deeply about said thing, asking and wondering all the 'how','what','why' of the matter.

the word "Musing" also is a gerund of the word Muse.

Muse (verb) - be absorbed in thought.

So the founder of Musing had the aspiration that Musing is a place in the Steem Blockchain where people can entertain deep thoughts inspired by the questions they see here..

Incidentally, a Muse is one of the nine inspirational goddesses of literature, science, and the arts in Greek mythology. One is said to be "blessed by a Muse" when inspiration struck there.

Why there's a lot of downvoting happening on steemit on the past few days even though posts didn't violated steemit's policy?

I got 1 downvote a few days ago and I reviewed my post if I violated any policy. Then I saw a post from another user telling that she also got downvotes and even her friends got downvotes even as far as they know they didn't violated any policy. I hope someone could answer this.

Is there a way to see comments that have been deleted on Steemit? Or if someone edits their post, is there an edit history?

I assume nothing every really disappears, does it?

@Zayedsakib had answered this question so I won't repeat it..

However I do like to stress that posts and comments don't actually get deleted on the Steem Blockchain, when you are editing a post/comment on Steemit, what you are actually doing on the blockchain level is to "overwrite" the comment and have Steemit show the new comment instead of the older one.

In fact even your upvotes and flags are registered on the blockchain the same way if there is any changes.. that is why you don't get your Voting Power back when you cancel a vote.

Accessing to any of the Steem blockchain explorer and you can see all of it.

Imagine you can leave a "hidden message" on the Steem Blockchain by editing it as soon as your posts gets registered on the block.

Although right now it's currently offline, but it should recover deleted posts /comments on the steem blockchain :)

For the edit, Just replace the url from say steemit.com/linktopost to "steemdb.com/linktopost". From their you will see an Edit History of the said post

You can, but you cannot do it directly using steemit. However you can use some other third party websites based on steem blockchain..Few examples would be

*steemd.com
*steemdb.com
*steemblockexplorer.com
*steemworld.org

Use any of those and go to the target account by using a similar url like this.

steemd.com/@(username). go there and scroll through the accounts activity.

There you will be able to see both delete history and edit history of comments and posts..

I've tried this recently on a post but these tools made it hard to see the actual edit history, because when you go to the page of the post, there's no history still. You only see that it had been edited. Maybe I didn't find where the link was though...

China never gets the stock market. The Chinese government is like, shit, I don't even know what's going to happen next year, or even next month, and I know a ton more than you, a small investor, do. And somehow you just know what a company's earnings' going to be in the next 30 years, precise to the nth degree, and come up with the right price for the company's stock. Isn't this just too miraculous?

So that's not how the Chinese stock market works. The Chinese stock market is a hybrid of policy directive + casino, with the government as the house. The policy directive part works like this:
The government starts talking about pollution is bad.
The smart investors get the message and start putting money into solar companies.
The government tells the provincial governors: "Next year your job evaluation will have a pollution-reduction score. If you score highly you are next in line for a promotion."
The governors run through their provinces shutting down the dirty coal-burners and replacing them with solar energy.
Solar companies make a killing.
Investors make a killing.
Government policy gets implemented.

Basically, the government is in it to move money from private pockets to enterprises. It couldn't care less what the stock index is, as long as the key industries are getting funded.

The Chinese economy, on the other hand, is a different story. Back in the 70's, the Chinese set a goal of reaching the living standard of "mid-tier developed countries" for the average Chinese citizens by 2050. The example quoted was "something like Portugal, Greece, or Italy". So - an 80-year plan to improve the people's living standard. In addition to private enterprises, the Chinese government has been a main driver of the economy. When Xi goes to visit Russia and the ME, he brings with him the CEOs of the 3 major Chinese oil and gas companies, and the top 5 construction companies, "can you sell us some oil exploration rights, give us some energy discount? Is there a road or power plant we can build for you?" When Li goes to visit EU, he brings with him a couple of the top bankers and manufacturers, "can you issue RMB-denominated debt in London/Zurich? Can we build this and that for you?" Basically, the Chinese government is out there full-time doing deals. It's an active player in driving the economy. And when you can leverage the whole Chinese market behind you to do deals, you can get pretty good terms. The Chinese government may not tell you what's going on with the economy, but they know exactly where they are.

Buying a coin is always a tricky decision to make. Especially when we have large numbers of coins. Mostly what people do is to buy the most trending coin and try to avoid the small value alt coins.
I’m of the view to buy alt coins instead of BTC at the movement. The reasons behind this are:-
They are cheaper as compared to BTC. Therefore, I can buy different number of Altcoins in huge quantity.
Secondly, some Altcoins are at the movement undervalued and can have a great chance to excel.

There are a lot of comments about it online. Particularly some binary option trading platform where they say they got scammed and all that. If it has a lot of complaints against it then perhaps it's not a good thing to get into.

I attended a local basic info seminar on it and they charge a lot for teaching how to trade well using binary options. I actually had no idea it's what I kept seeing online. Lol. I'm still thinking about if I should join it or not. So far I'm still unsure.

But the problem is that there are some ICO that are just a modernized ponzi scheme that just want to steal money from people and hide under umbrella of ICO,that is why anyone that wants to participate in an ICO should be very careful with whatever ICO they want to invest in

Before you invest on an ICO first make sure you do your analysis well and make sure you get the full information about those behind the ICO and why they created the ICO and what they have to offer in terms of making the blockchain industry a better place

Also make sure that they are not offering what i call “too good to be true”deals,the reason is because most scam ICO tend to attract investors with extremely mouth-watering deals that sounds too sweet to ignore and use that to trap investors and rip them off

Bitcoin, Stellar, Monero, Ripple, Ethereum, Neo and gas, Steem, Vechain Litecoin, Iconomi, ZRX, Omisego, Funfair, Salt, Iota, Powerledger, Storj, Basic attention token, Quantstamp, Cardano, Cindicator, Time new bank, Gifto, Aion, Augur, Golem, Ins ecosystem,

My biggest positions are Bitcoin, monero, stellar, vechain, ethereum, neo and steem. These are the coins i have the highest conviction in. I'm more bullish on some of the smaller altcoins but they have more chance to fail.

Most of these altcoin positions where only bought since May this year. With cryptocurrency so cheap i'm buying more every month, averaging down to the bottom.

Some people have two steemit accounts and they genuinely have a good reason why they

created the two steemit accounts but there are also many spammers that do not have any

meaningful reasons why they opened multiple steemit accounts,some certain people open

multiple steemit accounts just to steal from the steem economy and there are also some certain people that opened multiple steemit accounts

Having an investment manager itself is not a bad idea but it also depends on what you want to invest on,there are some kind of investments that you definitely need an investment manager while there are also some form of investments whIch you can do on your own

If you are investing on stock markets well i believe that you need an investment manager for such an investment and the investment manager should be a stock broker with experience and knowledge about the stock market

But if you are investing on cryptocurrencies then i believe that it is something you can invest on without an investment manager because what will make your investment secure and profitable in the cryptocurrency market is your wealth of knowledge and also experience concerning the market itself and so you can get that without an investment manager

But be aware that if the investment manager is someone that is also an expert in cryptos then you can now use such investment manager for your investment portfolios

I have done some major investments and some are already yielding profit while some are yet to bring in returns on investment,investing is a good way for someone to secure their finances and become richer and more resourceful

Let me explain to you the things i invested on,first thing i invested on was real estate,i invested into real estate because i believe that the investment tend to be more reliable and good for a long term profit,I made investment on real estate by buying units of aparrments and also buying hostels and also lands

Second thing i invested on is cryptocurrency,i bought more bitcoin then i also invested on ethereum and some other smaller coins,well investment on the cryptocurrency have started yeilding profit because to me it is more of a mid- term investment and i still hope to earn profits

Another thing which i invested on is the forex market and i did it on a short term investment because investment on the forex market can be very risky especially when there is crisis in the forex market

I have dated an introvert before and i must confess that i really enjoyed the relationship with the person,the person made me have rest of mind in the relationship because she loves to stay indoors and hardly go out and it makes it have less chance of meeting another man and also have a less chance of physically cheating on me with someone else...lol

There are advantages of dating an introvert but there are also some disadvantages too especially if you are the type that is an extrovert,sometimes i find my partner to be boring simply because she does not love going out to have fun and enjoy life,now she might not be really that boring to others but to me she is boring which is probably because i am an extrovert and it is common for an extrovert to assume that an introvert is boring eventhough the extrovert might be wrong

But the advantages of me dating an introvert is more than the disadvantages of dating them so i think i will always be cool dating them but also someone have to be aware of the truth that sometimes anyone can be a cheat whether they are introverts or extroverts

Gambling itself is not a bad thing but the addiction to it is what is very bad,i have a friend that was a gambling addict and i was really sad with his lifestyle during that time before he now finally stopped the addiciton

I believe that the gambler is the best person to help himself in terms of stopping the gambling addiction because no matter how much people advice him or her,the person is still rhe one that have the final decision as to whether they want to stop gambling or not but they still need the help of people who will give them good advice and give them tips to stop the addiction

When trying to stop gambling addiction you first of all have to admit that it won’t just stop all of a sudden in a day,it will have to stop in a gradual process,you need to first of alll start loosing interest in gambling little by little till you finally get to a point that you Don’t have interest in gambling anymore...

If you want to stop gambling i will first of all advice you to keep yourself very busy with a job,the reason js because when you are very busy the thoughts of gambling gets reduced and that is a good way to reduce the gambling,secondly i will advice you to always be around people who hate gambling so much because that will make you to not be able to freely gamble whenever you want especially when you are around these people

And finally the most important advice is that you should visit a psychologist who can help you with professional tips on how you can stop addiction to gambling....goodluck

just decide you wanna quit and then stop playing and start paying the balance you have, once you pay the whole balance , do a small party with your close friends just like few beers and snacks, and then tell them that this party is of the reason of me stop gambling. And brother i am not saying it with just a thought, i quit the same way and now tell everyone with proud how i came out of it.

Being beautiful for sure will make many guys to flock around them but sometimes they get mostly approached by the wrong guys which the beautiful ladies are not looking for,especially the guys that do not have features they are looking for in a man

But let me also inform you that sometimes these beautiful ladies do not see men to approach them because many of the men feel intimidated by the lady beauty and some of the men assume she is in a relationship so they do not bother to ask her out and such beautiful ladies will be strongly single even when many people assume they will definitely be in a relationship since the lady is beautiful

It's damn addictive, Had it been not so the largest question answer wont have 100M monthly visitors and gets valued at $1.8 Billion.

While it takes more brain power to research and answer questions than just watching LADBIBLE videos, it can feel just as rewarding.

Another reason I push myself to answer questions once it gets boring is because of the desire to set myself out as a thought-leader.. Experts arent those that know alot about the subject, experts are those that not only know the subject but are those shows their expertise.

And that is on a platform that doesnt pay me for good answers... Musing elevates the experience and put it on steroids..

Sadly many people have the wrong purpose of being on this platform.. Eventually low quality content have to be filtered and the overall quality of the platform gets increased by sheer user curation.

To answer your question though, I think there are a lot of ideas out there that are up for grabs. Blockchain technology is still so new, and if you think about blockchain's chief benefit (decentralization), you will see that the nature of it is to replace existing products and services. For example, Musing is a replacement for all the question and answer websites done in the past. There are plenty of different products that could be built as a decentralized system on Steem as well. I think that something like TripAdvisor on Steem could be pretty cool. Personally, I also think that a news aggregator like Reddit could also be useful, since Steemit isn't really a link-sharing website as much as it is a blogging one. These are just examples, and I'm sure you can think of even better ones that would be a fit for the Steem blockchain :)

A very very short answer to this is, when they are able to comprehend the difference in gender. That is when you introduce certain 'dos and don'ts'.

The long answer can get a bit complex because it depends on many variables, so let's get started:

Environment: As a teacher trainer, I have reports from my teacher trainees indicating children as young as 7 years old playing 'rape' in the classroom. This of course got the teacher to sit down and have the 'talk' with them since their parents did not. It may be easy to blame the parents but they could have learnt it from an older siblings. Thus, while teaching them about sex education at this age may be too early, the example above does show that the children already has an understanding or misconception of certain things related to sex education. As such, parents and teachers should take action immediately. Moral of this variable is, watch out and be vigilant towards the signs.

Curriculum: In general, every education system has a 'set age' where they would give the students a short course on sex education. My country's is at the age of 12. While this may be a little late for certain kids, parents can start preparing them also when certain questions pop up in books or reading. For example, why do people get married? Where do babies come from? etc. Generally, you would want to slowly ease the child into certain ideas before you give them the full version of 'the talk'.

Other aspects to this include their friends and the media that they are consuming. However, the general idea to this is, every child is different and instead of figuring out what is the best age, watch out for the signs as mentioned in the environment point above. Also, consider gradually dropping ideas related to sex education such as marriage, babies, etc in easy to understand 'bites'. This is to build upon their understanding slowly and avoid confusion for the child.

You just need to have a decent knowledge of how the steem blockchain works, knowledge of how to make an iOS app and a solid plan of what you want to develop.

To learn more about the steem blockchain, you can check out the steem developer portal: https://developers.steem.io/. They give a lot of the details, and if you don't understand something, I recommend checking out the steemdevs discord here: https://discord.gg/ytwt3AD. Theres even a dedicated swift page if you will be using swift to make your iOS app.

You should also know how to make an iOS app, that means having an apple developers account and knowing what tools to use. You can go with react native(which I haven't used so I won't talk about that) or go native. Steemit Inc has made their own library to interface with the steem blockchain with iOS and it can be found here: https://github.com/steemit/swift-steem. There's also swiftyconnect which is a steemconnect library for iOS development developed by @moonrise. Its still a work in progress and can be found here: https://github.com/caspernikus/SwiftyConnect. You should also know Swift or Objective-C to make the apps natively if you can.

And finally you need to know what you are developing. You should have a solid idea of what your final app will be and what the reason for it. This can be the hardest part and you should spend time drawing the flow of the app out on paper. Good luck.

Why people are in fear ?

Fear is originally born as a result of repeated heavy and traumatic 'emotional' experiences in early life. These experiences occurred when we were kids and unable to process what was going on, and therefore developed coping strategies at a sub-conscious level. This 'coping' is a mixture of 'fantasy' and 'reality'. 'Fear' is deep, it is complex and this is partly why 'fear' is so hard to pin-point accurately.

Because the intense early experiences remain unprocessed and unacknowledged, they have an effect throughout life, whereby 'reactions' to situations are governed more by the subconscious processes than the 'rational' mind. Do we know why we get angry, or sad? Why we have anxiety? Is it 'just the way it is' and we have to accept it?

Fear is triggered 'at the subconscious level'. Although the 'conscious' mind tries to label and identify the 'cause' of fear, this usually turns out to be the 'trigger', and not the 'cause' of fear. The trigger (eg threat of loss of job/spouse etc) exposes the complex psychological state of fear manifestation (anxiety, worry, terror etc).

Unless one goes back and explores the 'original' settings in which these fears developed, it will be very difficult to be free of them. But this IS possible, it can be done, and it is a BRAVE undertaking to really and truly 'face one's fears'! However, one needs to take responsibility for one's feelings - blaming the the 'current' event or person that triggers the fear is simply to play the old game and to remain in perpetual confusion and misery. Eventuallly, FEAR is revealed for the imposter it is: "False Evidence Appearing Real".

We are incarnated in animal bodies, and fear is an instinct of animal bodies. As babies and infants we are very open to absorbing the feelings and experiences of others, and in our current human "civilisation" these influences are predominantly based on fear. So we soak up lots of fear, and gain the habit of fearing.

But this is not the only way we can be. As divine eternal beings our primary quality is love - true love, which is selfless unconditional love.

I am learning to dismiss fear (unless there is a very good reason for it - eg about to walk over a cliff!), and to not make any decision based on fear. Love trumps fear every time.

First you should know that reputation only increases/decreases depending on what the voter does (upvoting/downvoting the post/comment).

There are two things that affects reputation here on Steem.

First is the reputation of the voter.
If the reputation of the voter is higher than the votee then calculations are made. Since reputation is exponential, a higher rep user will give significant increase/decrease when upvoting a low rep account.

Second is the upvote weight given by the voter.
A 1%upvote will only give less increase to someone's reputation compared to a 100% upvote of the same level of reputation.

The same goes for downvotes.

If you post copy paste content your reputation will be decrease because cheetha bot will catch you and may be someone flag on your post . So avoid copy paste content. Also upvote only good post. Don't try to scam people on steemit. Other wise you will get flag by other users. So reputation is very important if you have low ranking then your post and comment will be hide and show less people. Also read some terms and condition that will help you to understand polices of steemit. And there is lots of ans in FAQ you can read it .

Reputation is the score of our profile i think steemit has done a wonderful work by bringing the reputation of any profile. One can identify his content how he is dealing with blogs and because of it the fake contents which are copyright or spam can me removed and only legit contents can be given real value. Reputation score decide how much user is writing the blogs useful to other or not.

On an average everyone get reputation of 25 and they have to build their reputation toward upward and if someone has reputation of less than 25 then his profile either use by bot or he content will be copyright.

Let me make the things clear by stating point wise

Initially one gets a basic reputation as 25 and it increases when that person gets upvotes and vice-versa.
2)Writing good content and make people learn from your post would automatically fetch you upvotes and drives your repo.
3)Write articles about trending topics so that many people go through your writing
Don't use unnecessary tags as people many flag you.
Better no to write on sensitive topics as it may harm someone.
6)Don't spam others post by writing unnecessary comments.
7)Don't mess with whales
Make a core group who upvotes your posts as soon you publish(very important)

Media houses are causing havoc these days, last month in Nigeria something terrible happened in a state called plaetue state.

Some said it's ethnic rivalry while others said it's the work of the politicians, the rivals of the party in power are killing people like chicken so citizens can criticize the president. Here's where the media causes havoc some media houses said the killings in Plateau was because indigenes of that state stole and killed 300 cows that belonged to the herdsmen.

This news turned out to be fake news but the damage has already been done, the herdsmen and other ethnic groups started slaughtering each other cause of this news.

Some people say the govt pay some media houses to reduce the number of victims that were involved in some killings, I'm not that good at English so I'm sorry.

The media is meant to be a neutral body always telling the truth but it seems things has changed, the media is no longer trustworthy.

For news that are easily verifiable(like sports news, music competitions, weather disasters and the likes) people still trust the media for those things.

However when personal opinions of the network or even a little politics is involved, people have become too wary. Fake News have been going on for some time now to sway people in favor or against the government. Knowing this, people are now more likely to verify first the news if it really happened or if it's at least close to the truth.

It all depends on the "quality of the post being upvoted" and the "amount" you have sent to the bidbot.

The "main" purpose of bidbots is to increase visibility of a post. If you are only sending 1SBD then for sure it will not even reach the "hot" section and no one will be able to see the post let alone have a chance of being upvoted by others. Most likely it will be drowned along with other posts after 5mins of being upvoted by the bot.

The next thing is "quality of the post", if your post is good enough then the moment it reaches the "Trending" or "Hot" section , chances are more people will see your post and will likely upvote it. The downside of course is if your post is of low-quality then instead of being upvoted, you'll be downvoted.

More visiblity = More chances of being upvoted = More profitable

This is a question only yourself can answer. If you have invested in Bitcoin them either you did it because you believed in it or believed you would make money from it.

As Per any investment it’s never easy and what goes up often comes down the problem with BTC is the gains and losses are huge.

I’m not sure on your financial situation or how much loss you are at however when ever I have taken a loss I use a method called dollar cost averaging.

Which basically mean you buy at the lower rate if you can afford to so your average buy price is reduced so if and when prices increase your average buy price is a lot lower allowing you to catch up to your break even point and it’s always worked for me.

That is a million dollar question, because no one can say with guarantee when price will stop going down. If anyone who knows the exact answer would be a billionaire.
Exact answer to the question cannot be given however, in my personal opinion, the price is almost at the bottom and why I say so because in past few weeks we have seen number of time steem hit 1.20 to 1.30 rage and bounced back as little bit.
Another factor is that price of ALT coins generally follows the price of BTC and in past few weeks BTC is managing to hold in the 5800 to 6800 range. So if BTC stabilize its price in this range it will likely to reverse its trend.
Another factor is that when some positive new about Bitcoin or Steem is announces the trend will be revered. Till that time we have to wait and watch.

Steem price have been going down for more than several weeks and i was expecting it to bounce back up so that i can make profits on my investments,but i am not the one controlling the steem markets so there are limits to what i can do

But i do not know the exact day or a week that the steem price will stop going but one thing i notice about the steem market is that when the price wants to rise it rises slowly but when it falls it falls quickly..lol but i am optimistic that the steem price will still go back up and at the end of the day investors will smile to the bank

Atleast more than 2 liters everyday should keep you hydrated. But There is no exact amount fixed for everyone. if you ask why because there are some factors that play vital role on how much fluids your body needs.. The first factor would be "Humidity".

See, on a humid day you sweat a lot.. That drains lots of fluid from your body and obviously the more you sweat the more you should drink. these circumstances are limited to summer times. but in winter humidity is less and you sweat less. So in that season you can get away with drinking less fluids.

Second factor would be the physical work amount. If you have to use your body muscles in any kind of work than you burn through more fluids. So the more you work the more you should drink..

Now the third factor is you body size. This is the determining variable about how much you should drink.. See a person has 55-64% water in their body. so if you weigh 100 Kilograms than 60 kg is water. Now everyday you lose from 2-8% of that water from pissing and sweating and the amount you lose is determined by the previous two factorsn if you from that 60kg lose 2-8% then you can lose 2-5 liters of water a day.. Now you counting in all the variables do the math and figure out how much you should drink..B

I'm not a believer that a person should definitely consume 2 litres of water every day. I might sound weird but I do not drink water at all. I drink a small quantity after my food to just wash my mouth. Other than that I never keep any targets for me to drink these many litres every day.

I'm a firm believer who thinks that we should be consuming food and water only when it is required for our body. I'm someone who practices this ideology. I drink water only when it is necessary for me and only when I feel thirsty and feel like drinking water. I have been like this for many years and have had no problems.

I'm not sure if this ideology is correct or wrong but this is just only for me. I feel it works for my body condition so I'm practising it. I have seen people drinking over 6 litres of water every day. I'm not quite sure if it is good for health or not. Every human body takes water in the form of moisture during our breathing. I somehow feel that it is sufficient for my body and if at times when I need more water, I will feel thirsty and that is when I drink water.

I will never force my body with water when it is not required for me. You can also check online for references on the harmful effect of drinking lots of water. Especially during the summer season, my body will require lots of water. That is when I will really feel thirsty and drink more water. Or when I do some really brisk things like walking or playing outdoors, I will need more water. I will feel thirsty and I drink lots of water.

During winter and rainy season, I don't drink water at all. Might sound strange but that's what I have been doing for several years.

Yes, you can definitely make some good money with STEEM. It all depends on your SP though. You need a lot of it. Also, the more you post good content and curate other peoples content the more potential you have to earn. Starting out it is going to be a slow process. It is not a get rich quick thing. I know people that have over 100,000 SP and they earn the equivalent to $150 + a day. Depending on where you live in the world that is good money.

If you are from a country where $1 is worth much, then steem definitely can be a major source of income. A great plus if you have the passion for writing, have artistic talents or is not afraid to document your personal life (vlog).

It is understandable at first that you won't likely earn some money as you are still building your follower base, however after 3months or less when you are now at least known in the steem community, it can be a major money-earner.

From what the creator of Musing has said publicly, it does not appear as if musing will implement a bot and they will continue to expand their curation team to manually review all questions and answers before deciding which ones are worth of a vote.

Nothing worse than calling on the person you believe loves more than anyone else in the world and having them tell you they're too busy for you, or having them there and constantly distracted by other things, or not seeming to really care about what's going on that you needed them there so badly.

The French Revolution was the originator of many things. Ideas of populism, secularism, and more ideals that we consider essential to the modern world came to be thanks to the Revolution. However, it has another legacy that not many people, even those who know much about the Revolution, consider: industrialized mass murder. And that is thanks largely to one person: Jean-Baptiste Carrier.

To call Carrier “radical” doesn’t really do him justice. Carrier was part of the Montagnards, the radical Revolutionary section of the Jacobin Party. However, he was more radical than even most Montagnards. Maximilien Robespierre, the leader of the Montagnards, attempted to reconcile somewhat with religious elements in France by starting his “Cult of the Supreme Being”, the new Revolutionary religion. Carrier, however, favored a complete Dechristianization of France, and he was determined to achieve this goal, no matter how many he had to kill.

Carrier was assigned to be the Committee of Public Safety’s representative in the city of Nantes in November of 1793. Nantes was on the border of the Vendee region, at that time controlled by Royalist rebels. As such, there was much paranoia that the city contained a Royalist fifth column. Carrier was sent initially to simply oversee the provisioning of troops to fight in the Vendee, but he soon grew his role far beyond that.

One of the first problems Carrier encountered upon his arrival was the issue of plague. Nantes’ prisons were already overcrowded, and there was fear that the squalid, crowded conditions would produce disease that would spread to the rest of the city. Simply guillotining the prisoners would only make the situation worse; after all, dead bodies are disease magnets. Carrier devised a way to kill these prisoners quickly and dispose of the bodies at the same time: drowning. So it was that 160 priests and nuns were marched out to the docks of Nantes and forced onto barges that then sailed out onto the River Loire. Once the barges were far enough out, they were sunk. The prisoners, unable to swim due to their bindings, all drowned.

Carrier realized he had a very efficient new method of execution. He quickly assembled a “Committee” on December 4 to determine his next victims. Ultimately this committee named hundreds of people identified as “counterrevolutionary”; all of these people were rounded up and forced again onto barges. Carrier would continue this process 9 more times; entire families were soon drowned in the Loire, with Carrier believing that even the children had been corrupted by their parents’ thoughtcrime beyond repair. Often, Carrier’s thugs would simply drag away anyone who had something they wanted, in order to steal it.

Carrier also added sadistic inspiration to his “invention”; priests and nuns were stripped naked and tied together before being drowned, so they would die having broken their vows of chastity. Carrier called this process a “Republican marriage”; it was born out of his utter disdain for religion in all its forms. By the time the drownings were ending even babies were thrown into the river; this was confirmed by Carrier himself. Ultimately, at least 4,000 men, women, and children would be drowned in what Carrier called the “National bathtub”, and likely hundreds more.

Carrier’s reign of terror ended with the fall of the Montagnards. Initially, Carrier was recalled to Paris to testify at the trial of Robespierre; he was, however, soon accused by countless witnesses to his cruelty at Nantes. At his trial Carrier claimed total ignorance, a strategy that backfired against the weight of literally hundreds of witnesses to his sadism. He was found guilty and executed on December 16, 1794.

Jean-Baptiste Carrier’s sins might seem relatively minor compared to those of other directors of the purges of repressive regimes, and even compared to Robespierre, whose terror killed 40,000 people. Carrier, however, was a man who clearly thought a lot about killing people, and how to do it as efficiently as possible. Carrier created one of the first instances of outright industrial mass murder in history, as thousands of people were drowned without regard to innocence or guilt. He possessed the dangerous combination of sadism and efficiency, and the people of Nantes payed the price.

Computer games, I was addicted to it for the longest time and so I channeled my attention elsewhere. I loved fast paced shooter games and so I joined martial arts and paintball. I got pretty good at one of them and over time, the virtual world started losing its draw. I suppose its all about managing your time and channeling your energy to something more meaningful. Over time, you will start to realize that you are in control and not the thing you are addicted to. It takes time and some 'cold turkeys' but hey, once you get out of it, you become stronger.

One day I remember just quitting it cold turkey, didnt even finish the pack, crumpled it and tossed it to the bin. Not sure how much there was left.

Strangely there wasn't any withdrawals or anything. I've been functioning as usual since.. I'd like to think 2 packs a week for 3 years is heavy and quitting it is no small task, but I never really tell my story to people around because they will somehow diminish my extent of smoking to justify why they can't quit. Tried to tell someone once and that exactly happened, i told myself "fuck it, you smokers can die of lung cancer if you dont quit."

I guess there is no "tips and tricks" to quit smoking, its a question of willpower at the start and then tailoring you environment to make sure you don't touch that thing anymore. I was lucky that I am very picky as to what cigarette to smoke so the only time temptation was there was when someone nearby is smoking the exact cigs.

There's a neighbor of mine. He is addicted to marijuana because of his friend's invitation. First he experimented, then continued until addiction. After 5 years he realized and wanted to get rid of marijuana addiction.

The first thing he did was the family of the cannabis-drinking community. He does not hang out with them anymore. Secondly he reduced the amount of marijuana used. From day to day continue to decrease. After 6 months, she tries not to wear marijuana. When he sakau, he took ablution and continued praying, every time like that. After 8 months he was able to eliminate his addiction to marijuana.

So little story from me hopefully there are benefits. Eliminating addiction must be with a strong determination, otherwise it will not work.

It doesnt always. It is based on the previous 3 days average of the price of Steem.
Therefore, if the price rises during the 7 day period, the value of your posts will increase, however, ifnthe price of Steem falls, so will the value of your posts and comments.
Sadly, the price of Steem has been falling recently!

housewife and the husband dies then it becomes a financial burden for the woman and the family

Now Rajit is smart, He dont actually want the dollar but more Rupess, what he does now is use the dollar he got from me, set it at a higher price and wait for an offer that he thinks will come soon enough.

Incidentally Sanjeet comes and wants some dollar for his New York trip, Rajit is the only one in the platform with the Dollar and the best price. So Sanjeet paid Rajit 6875 Rupees for 100 Dollars.

Rajit just made 875 Rupees.

That, is Forex Exchange.

Edit: the forex that is mentioned here is one that is called "OTC" exchange. Chemistry! I hated it and still do. I know there are a lot of fascinating topics. But I think the real reason for me to dislike the subject was that my teacher wasn't so good at selling it to me. The man really lacked the motivation for his subject. He could never fire up my curiosity about things' chemistry and I too never tried to do it on my own. What I hated the most was the inorganic chemistry, all that fuss about carbon and its bonds ehhh... it really went above my head. Maybe, if I had a teacher like Walter White from Breaking Bad I would've learned a thing or two. lol...

I disliked some certain subjects but the subject i disliked most was chemistry,lol...i was not good at chemistry and i kept trying my best to know the subject well but i was not just getting it well

What even made it worse was the fact that the chemistry teacher i had then in the high school was not a friendly type so i could not walk up to him to explain my predicaments to him so i kept failing chemistry in most of my exams

My favourite subject during that time in high school was physics,i loved physics so much and i understood it alot and i always get good grades whenever i write any exams on physics,physics was a subject that i was good at it till the extent that i got different awards as the best physics student of the school during those years...i wish i could say the same for my performance in chemistry

Gaining muscle would only be possible by working out and taking enough amount of proteins.
Whenever we lift weights in gym our muscle breaks because of load. Post workout we have to take enough amount of proteins in a diet. The proteins you intake should be the amount of weight of your body.
E.g 50kg boy should take a minimum of 50g protein daily if he is doing any physical work.
The beauty is that your muscle doesn't grow after eating and it does while sleeping. While sleeping you brain rebuilds the broken muscle in such a way that it could lift weights more than you did in past i.e it makes your muscle stronger.

Powering down is like an indirect way of withdrawing your steempower or let me just say is a way of withdrawing steem,if more people are withdrawing steempower it means they are selling their steempower to get steem,and when they are powering up then it means they are buying steempower with steem

Well going by that analysis then it means that powering down can affect the price of steem negatively because it will mean that people are selling their steempower which means there might be less demand for steempower or they feel their steempower is not worth enough money thereby making supply to be more and demand should be less thereby making the steem price to go down,i might be totally wrong but that is my own opinion concerning the issue

In part if the people who power down then move the steem onto an exchange to either convert to fiat or another crypto. This means there is Steem on the market that is floating and awaiting a purchaser.
To make a commodity more attractive to buy, the price will have to be at a level that people want to buy at. The more Steem availab!e, the lower the price.
Its not all down to powering down as Steem is quite closely following the path of crypto market leader Bitcoin, but the desperate selling of Steem as people panic over losing money on their investment certainly isn't helping.
It's like a self perpetuating downward spiral that will only stop when newinvestors, in for the longbterm are found and when people stop using Steem like fast cash trading chips and see it as a serious investment vehicle.

Nope, To answer your question. I don't think Vote selling is like prostitution. Because If it is anything, It is Vote selling and nothing more. You are trusting another entity to cast your vote on behalf of you and you will get the share of profit or may not.
because if you go by that logic the SP delegation is also prostitution and your savings account in the bank which generates interest also prostitution.

You are just putting your assets to work. Because if you are able to cast the votes by yourself by curating good contents you can make some decent returns on your time spent, And since you are not able to do it by your self you are trusting the other parties to help with it. Now it is the responsibility of the entities to take care of this trust placed in them.
Same way like the bank take cares of their assets.

This is a highly controversial topic.

I used to support vote-selling platforms when it first started as i saw that its a great feature that can be used to highlight great content. I no longer support them though..

It's not that vote-selling/buying is a bad thing. It's just something there to use.. But like every other problems on earth, it's how we people use it or rather abused it that turned into a shitshow it is today.

Voting a content is supposed to be an act of rewarding a creator for a content that the consumer liked.. as such ideally highly voted posts are those that people like for whatever reason. Quality is subjective but the market is the market.

Now imagine that instead of a creator creating content that their audience have to like, said creator now can literally shitpost and spam the blockchain as a placeholder, pay a vote-seller, get profit.

What is the value of the Steem token if people can pay Steem to buy more Steem? What is the value of the Steem Blockchain if Proof-of-Brain as described in the Steem Whitepaper no longer works?

It is true that a person's Steem Power represents their stake in the reward distribution voting mechanism and one can do whatever one likes with their own stake.

But I believe there should be a counter measure to make vote-selling/buying not as rampant/profitable as it is now. Perhaps a diminished return physics in place or a superlinear/sublinear reward curve instead of the linear curve we have now.

otherwise there is no reason for investors to invest in the development of the steem blockchain when their investments leaks out into the exchange almost immediately.

This is just my strong opinon loosely held.. There will be those that disagree with me, I will get some points wrong. I hope discourse can be civil if anyone feels like discussing more.

I completely disagree with him. Selling votes is just like passive income it benefits both the seller and buyer.
Now-a-days in steemit it has become hard to come into limelight or attract people by your posts.
People comment or upvote you posts only if you have good repo( Not everyone)
In that case one buy votes until he gets 50 to 60 rep or even after that.
Moreover everyone wants the longterm benefits and thats why we are working hard on steemit.
There might be a situation where you can't make daily posts but your steempower is high. I'll bet that no one want their hard work go in vain. They could sell their votes and earn from them.
Mentioning selling votes as prostitution is absurd. Smartwork and illegal work are entirely different.

The first time I used internet was with a Nokia java phone. Speed was 16KB and I was using only some websites to download "pirated" music or funny videos. I didn't knew then how piracy worked. Didn't know how to avoid it. Its been more than 10 years. The internet we have now is far more sophisticated.

Internet has impacted the most is how I learn things. Then I had to read books after books to find relevant materials. But now I can get that with some little monthly subscription fee. Another part it has impacted is communication. Before using the Internet as a communication method I used to text people and had to pay a overpriced tag. And now facebook or other social media apps has made that so easy.. Now I can use Internet to answer peoples "questions" on musing instantly no matter how far they are from me.. I think that's sufficient to prove how internet has changed my life.

I think this answer will be obsolete very soon, at least in all the of developed countries and some more modern developing countries. Because soon we would not recognize a world without the internet.

Picture this:

I am now considered anti-social for spending less time on social media to socialize and not posting pictures of everything i do on them. People now call me "anti-social" now not because I dont go out often, but because i didnt "proved" that i did.
Every passing day made me more firm in my stance that physical classroom education is outdated, inefficient, politically-biased, wasteful, inhumane, and valueless to society. All because the internet has shown me a better alternative. 90% of the useful things i learned are from my researches on the internet and not a classroom.
I have friends in Russia that I constantly keep in touch with.. This was never practically possible with mails or telephones
People may not realize or admit this themselves , but i truly see that the term "cyborg" is applicable to me now.. I can't do anything without being near a device to either communicate or research, which in my line is as valuable as work itself. I can't talk to my client unless there's internet. The whole foundation of how i feed myself is via the internet...

This are but one of many ways the internet has changed my life.. And I can't see myself ever doing backwards.

This is still understandable. At that time I call the transition period. Call it a lot of educators and also officials who used to only learn to use the "typewriter" model of the wheelbarrow, hahahaha. Therefore, I am not surprised if they are still confused when talking about the internet.

I assume you are asking about medical doctors. Let's look at it this way, most physicians earn over $150,000 which puts them into the top income brackets in the US.
$150,000 top 8%
$200,000 top 4%
Which means that even in America they are considered rich.

If you are talking world-wide standards, most Americans are rich. If a person has more than one pair of shoes, they have more than most of the 7 billion people on the planet.

I don't know how accurate this site is but it ranks income based on some worldwide stats. http://www.globalrichlist.com/ (I don't know the site, it may be a scam, so I would not donate without doing some research)

They put someone with a $150k income in the top 0.06% and $200k is top 0.04%. Someone who makes $20,000 is even in the top 3.65% and 15k still keeps you in the top 10% at 7.91%. My daughter makes close to that at a part-time job.

I guess the point is being rich is subjective, and is very dependant on where you live. especially when considering the cost of living differences.

For some reason, and I have no idea why, there’s this stereotype that doctors do incredibly well, especially in America.

It’s absolute true that there are surgeons in private practice that make a million or maybe even a couple million a year, but these people aren’t exactly fresh out of medical school; they’ve gone to medical school for 4 years, after having been in college for 4 years, gone on to residency, which depending on the specialty, means another 4 to 7 years and then likely spent some time working elsewhere. What that all amounts to is that even though, yes, a couple million dollars is unquestionably quite a chunk of change, it is relatively poor compensation for the time and investment required to get there in the first place.

Even once you are in a place where you can make that amount of money, you’re likely working anywhere from 55 to 80 hours a week depending on the week and at that point, people typically begin to gradually shift their priorities.

Oh, and notice I mentioned surgeons? Yah, well, good luck making anything near a milllion dollars as a doctor with a specialty other than surgery…

My life sucks too if i see it that way, I have no cash in my wallet or the bank, I owe an excess of $1000 dollars to my family member. I am unemployed, i live with my parents as a 24 year old. I don't have a "proper" tertiary education. most jobs here pays less than $400 a month.

I am happy as an educator that you are looking to invest, the point is to start early and start young. Now, it is important to equip yourself with the necessary knowledge of investing. Books by Robert Kiyosaki are great ways to start. In addition, investopedia have a wealth of information. Personally, I would Google search top ten ways to invest your money before using investopedia to support my research.

Based on my experience, I would divide investments into safe and high risk.
Of course, dividend, blue chip stocks and properties are the safest. They are not without risk, but in general, they retain their value over time with some interests given to you.

As you are young, do consider more high risk stocks such as Aggresive high risk stocks as well as cryptocurrencies. I believe cryptocurrencies are great ways to invest your money. I personally made 5 times the profit for Verge. In other words, do your research, put some into safe investments and others into high risk. Never be greedy and take your time. All the best!

Don't ask for s fish. Ask for the knowledge to get yourself a fish..

If you truly want to invest, you have to first understand what you're getting yourself into and what you want to get out of it. Learn about investments, the what, how and why.. before deciding where to put your money..

Also as you mentioned that you're a Student (underage i suppose?), it means a variety of investment mechanism are unavailable until you are legally of age. (be extra careful of "investments" that doesnt have proper KYC).

Now that is just "regular" investments, funds, stock options, commodity, etc..

Cryptocurrencies on the other hand, i'd suggest you not even put your money near it until you don't have to ask "where can i invest". Learn more about it first before committing your money.

For the first question, you can use two methods.. To drink salt water you need to get rid of the salt first. and you can achieve it by using a water vapor condenser. Now when you are in sea your not privy to a readymade condenser. So you have to make one..

The most important element in making such a thing is a see through plastic sheet. or a metal sheet or a metal pipe. if you have none then its better to stop doing anything, pray to god and look for land. But if you have any of the material start making the condenser..

First make a makeshift bowl using the materails on board. Now make another one but smaller than the previous one. Put the smaller one into the bigger one. Now pour some sea water in the large bowl.. Be cautios about not spilling any in the smaller bowll. fill it up as much as you can and wrap the open side of the bigger bowl with the metal sheet or the plastic sheet. Put something heavy and small on top centre of the sheet.it will help create condensation on the inside of the sheet and make it drop towards the smaller blank bowl. Put the whole set up directly under the sun. Wait until the cup fills and drink your salt free water.

Second method is use the pipe as a catheter and insert ot into your anal shaft. Yes, you read that right. put it into your anal shaft and pour water into your anal cavity.. That part of your body absorbs the water when dehydrated but leaves any substance dissolved in the water behind. But it is limited. You can do this once or twice a day before you become sick.

Now to answer your second question you can survive about 100-120 hours without water in a low temperature day. But as the temperature increases the more your body secrets water.. On thos kind of day you will survive for 75 and a few more added or reducted amount of hours.. Hope this helps you in any way..

If apparently mining is not profitable one should instead of abandoning the mining all waste all his investment. one should continue to mining and instead of immediately selling them in the market, should hold the coin and wait for the market jump.

At first, I thought that people will only follow you if they like or is interested in the things you write or deliver. However, when I did my very first post here on Steem, I immediately got like 100+ followers, so my guess is that most of the followers one has are just bots or alt accounts who wants to look like a real account.

Yes there are lots of things which we might impressed and there are things also due to our impression we also get frustrated like love with our girlfriend. Hands-down Perseverance and Consistency!

When I first quit my job to start my own business, I loved it. I would wake up in the morning without an alarm clock and work on what I felt like. Some days it was writing a blog post, some days it was researching ideas, developing marketing strategies and business models. No day was the same and I loved having the freedom to work on whatever I wanted whenever I wanted. But things changed quickly. The more I had refined my business idea and understood the key factors in the industry, the more my days started to feel like “work” again.

Instead of working on what I feel like every day, I now have optimised and standardised processes with clear goals I follow every week. I put out 3 articles every single week. I send out my newsletter every single week. I do manual, tedious things to grow my email list and “hack” the growth of my business. And I know that this is exactly is driving my success.

But there is so many days where I felt like quitting. Where I felt like it all is for nothing. Because you don’t see the effects of your work right away. It takes time. It takes time to compound your effort. And it is so easy to quit.

There is so many times where I have developed a new strategy, for example a new marketing strategy. The best strategies are hard to execute. And you could give up at any point, just because you FEEL like it is not working. But then I had to remind myself: I have to keep going until I have REAL proof that something is not working. I am not saying you should stubbornly stick with your strategies no matter what. I am just saying: Before you start with a project, decide how you will measure its success. If it is a new marketing strategy, it might be looking at the Cost per Acquisition or Cost per Click. And how much data you need to collect in order to be able to actually TELL whether it is successful or not. Spending 20 Dollars on a marketing campaign that reached 5 people is not good enough to quit and go with a different strategy. Writing one blog article on Medium and not getting any claps is not an indicator that it is NOT working.

For a range of reasons, the biological mechanisms that govern cell division, cell growth and cell death occasionally go wrong, resulting in cells growing and dividing uncontrollably. Cancerous cells may take over normal cells in surrounding tissue or detach, enter the bloodstream and spread to other parts of the body. Uncontrolled cancerous cell growth can cause other complications in the body, which can ultimately result in death.

There are various failures that can take place in the otherwise normal biological processes of cell lifecycle that can result in cancer. For example, a cell may receive an incorrect biological message from other cells telling it to multiply, a cell may not divide properly or a cell may fail to die as it was biologically programmed to do. The underlying causes of these failures is damage to cell DNA, which can in turn be caused by a wide range of factors including old age, random mutations, viral damage, the presence of particular chemicals, exposure to particular radiation energy etc.

Every minute, millions of cells in your body die and are replaced by new cells. This process goes wrong in a very, very small percentage of the time each and every day. However, in the vast majority of instances, the body’s own immune system or the cells’s own programming recognizes the failure and destroys the affected cell before cancer can take hold. In this respect, we all get cancer every day, but it is nothing to worry about because our bodies are capable of dealing with it.

Occasionally the body's immune system fails to properly detect or manage these failures. For example, it may be that the form of cancer is such that the body does not recognize something has gone wrong; it may be that the damage is so widespread that the body’s immune system is overwhelmed or it may be that the body’s immune system is not working properly. When this happens, cancerous cells may take hold, resulting in a form of cancer disease.

So just to clarify, not everybody gets a cancerous disease, but everybody gets cancerous (or what are often referred to as pre-cancerous) damaged cells. Many people die from many other causes (including nothing more than old age) without experiencing a fully developed cancerous disease.

Minimizing exposure to things that have been associated with cancer, such as smoking, carcinogenic chemicals, excessive ultraviolet radiation, etc, can reduce your risk of developing a cancerous disease. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle through healthy eating, exercise, healthy levels of exposure to sunshine, good sleep patterns and stress reduction will give your body’s immune system the best chance of fighting off any cells that do go wrong and would otherwise threaten cancer.
