I understand your concerns. But that was not my question. It's just theoretical and for analysis purposes. So you can go for a theoretical answer and stay on subject. By the way, we already have unofficial rules and regulations to save a buck or two from the reward pool. Steemflagrewards, steemcleaners cheetah. We are a decentralized community and censorship-resistant. So why even bother with Copyright? To be compliant? --> why not implement in the code as google did. It will save a lot of VP trying to fight this kind of abuse. Or people "promoting" to 440$(for simplicity) and saying I want to get to the trending to get attention because that's how steemit works. But in the background, Bots give you 10%+Returns so 40$ and then all the organic upvotes. BUT

Let's say the bot owners get 400$ for doing that upvotes.

Bot owners have now 400 Liquid Money.

Writer got 440$ in upvotes --> so we printed 440 new $ coin supply goes up lowering the overall price of the coin.

Writer gets 50% SP (vested steem) so needs 13 weeks to cash out.

Bot owner can already sell before the price goes down a week later.

Buy again and power up to repeat the process. Regulations Are in fact needed if you want the price to ever recover. We don't have a revenue stream yet and printing money like crazy. So make the rich richer or not. I just asked a question and I would prefer to get an answer to that question and not if you would want regulations or not. But Still I respect your opinion it's just that you didn't really answer my question :D (that's what musing is about right?)

What smart contracts.

That kind of regulation is up to the promotional service operators. They need to self-regulate, but most of them won't.

true since money is involved. we can see that people are more "hurt" from a downvote than on Youtube for example. Because they don't directly see the impact of the downvotes on their reputation, or income in the long run.

That makes you think that people don't really want to see the impact of every decision they do on a social media platform. So the problem is showing exactly how much a flag is worth, makes us react differently to the same situation.

Thanks for commenting. You're right. Yet, I wonder if that social engineering can ever be done to actually improve something that is considered prejudicial in a given culture. in order words, is it possible that governments can use resources, influence, power to actually make people better?

I don't thing you can do that without stepping on people personal individual freedoms.
And I don't know if giving up your freedom of thought and speech it's worth all the perceived benefits of submitting.
Don't get me wrong, sometimes to give up one freedom is to gain two freedoms.
I'm just saying, some freedoms are more important than other.

Yes, there is an edit option for questions and answers (to questions), but I am talking about replies to answers (such as this reply that I am writing to your answer), and for some reason we can't edit these replies on Musing.

I can also edit my own answers to questions. But I am not talking about our own answers to questions. I am talking about our own REPLIES to ANSWERS. Like this one. I replied to your answer, but I can't edit this (or any other replies to answers) after I submit it. I am using desktop.

Yes, you are right. I think steemit has connected all humans in all countries. so that I like and stay afloat. the fall in the price of steem did not make me run out of the circle.
