If you mean hide or obscure your wallet as to hide how much currently is on it, then I am afraid the answer is NO!

The beauty and the downside of decentralization is that everything is seen by the public if they want to. It is also immutable which means you can't delete any transaction that already happened.

However, other Steem Platforms like "Steemit.com" implemented a way to somehow hide or obscure the "memo" of a wallet transfer. To do this all you have to do is simply add the "#" sign at the very beginning of the memo.

For example if you want to send someone a message that will only be visible to the both of you, then:

YOUR TEXT MESSAGE HERE

If you do the one above, only the amount being sent to will be visible to the public. On Steemit.com and some other platforms, the "memo" will be hidden visually and if you look at it at any steem block explorers, you'll just see an encrypted memo.

It is also worth noting that you might need to use your "memo" or "master" key in order for this one to work.

Every transactions on the blockchain for steem is always stored on the blockchain itself so for now it

is not possible to encrypt your wallet transactions and i feel it is good for the sake of transparency in

the steem market...transparency is one of the best things i love about steem market...

You cannot explicitly encrypt wallet transactions, because it is recorded in the blockchain. But, if you use a crypto that has privacy features built in which encrypt transaction, you can encrypt.

Depending on you crypto, encrypting transaction may be mandatory or optional.
