My parents taught me these useful lessons about money:
- Money can be a friend or a foe/ a servant or a master.
- Money depreciates or appreciated exponentially, it never remains the same in value for an extended period. This means money kept idle will be worth a little or a whole lot less in the nearest future.
- Spend less than you earn and set your money to work for you.
- A good man leaves a legacy for his kids and if he is unable to leave a physical financial legacy, then be should at least leave them financially well-educated to at least have a fighting chance of making it out there.
first thing i learnt from my parents concerning money is that money is very valuable and should be cherished well and is a source of exchange...
through my parents i also learnt that someone with alot of money will attract so many kinds of people including postive people that mean well for them and also negative people that are there to steal or extort money from the person...
i also learnt from my parents that i should not be a slave to money but instead i should make money slave to me and what means is that i should focus more on how i will make my money work for me instead of thinking about working for money...
from my parents i also got to learn that someone should always learn to save at least fifty percentage of their income because savings will be helpful to the person in the future...

Don't make debts - even if it seems cheaper now, in the long way it won't.
A great saying is:
"We are too poor to buy cheap" - if you buy cheap things that don't last you spend more money than if you had bought a quality thing first.
