I have no issue with it as same sex marriages are based on love. I don't have feeling either way and as long as they are happy then who are we to say something.

It has been frowned upon for years and think we have progressed as a society to finally accept it. I know that certain religions turn their back on homosexuals due to their beliefs but times have changed.

Yes, as long as two people love each other, what else matters?

People talk about love being the greatest thing in the world, the strongest force in the universe yet they then try to deny two people that very same thing based on something as meaningless as same sex?

Whatever happened to love transcending time? If we are all reborn and our souls are recycled, then is it not this that should matter? Not the body or vessel we currently inhabit?

Many religions still believe this is immoral or wrong or however they want to phrase it. But on what ground do they base that belief? Its not like they themselves are living the life described in books or texts thousands of years old. So why should this be denied. People pick and choose what they want from their religion and never accept it 100%. This is hypocrisy of the highest order and if you truly want to evolve then you need to you know actually evolve and not hold to partial things from that long ago.

After all does not the "good" book say

Love thy fellow MAN?

My country prohibits it, my religion prohibits and unless I'm convinced otherwise, I don't think homosexuals marriages are allowed. I'm a Christian and God on the day of creation made everything male and female. He saw Adam needed a companion, he could have chosen to make another man maybe Steven for him but no he made a woman because he understands the man needs a woman.

There is continuity of life today because of procreation which happens when a man meets a woman. If everyone is homosexuals right from creation do you think we would have been given birth to? I know those who are pro it would say there are ways to get kids now, adoption is an option but if a sperm didn't fertilize an egg would there be a child to adopt? I don't know why a man would wanna be with a man and a woman with a woman.

I hope i don't get hated for expressing my opinion though but I don't think such marriages should be accepted.

Never hated for expressing an opinion in the manner you did, have no worries over that.

As you can see from my post on this question we disagree, but I do not hate anyone with a differing opinion or belief that is willing to state things rationally and politely as you did.

I am sure many others will agree with me on this so NEVER be afraid to state your opinion or belief in a polite or discussion worthy form.

Just had to say this in case you were ever holding back for fear of backlash

Marriage is supposed to be between a male and a female, shifting away from what is natural is very absurd and unacceptable. You wouldn't have the opportunity to be on this earth if your parents had decided to marry either a fellow male or felame. Homosexuality is a shift from what is natural and normal. It's absurd and shouldn't be accepted. Though I'm not saying those practising homosexuality should be hated or disrespected, the cat is what I'm talking about. It's not acceptable
