I've invested around 250 dollar but i've cashed out previously and am now trying to obtain more steem by actually using the platform :)

Hello!
It will be soon :)
Q3 2018
I can't wait!

Update on my previous answer, I just saw an update from steemitblog, it would be Q3 2018

https://steemit.com/steem/@steemitblog/steemit-blockchain-team-update-appbase-rocksdb-bandwidth-hf20-smts-and-more

Exciting news!!!

They have given 3rd quarter 2018 for HF20, but no date for SMT. For SMT, I think soon after the HF20 which would be late 3rd quarter or 4th quarter 2018.

The developer are quite quiet about the development of HF20 and SMT, so only the internal developers know about it. But on the GitHub, it can be seen that there is a few patches they had been working on for HF20, SMT wise no.

Whenever @Ned decides the time is right.

Soon. Right after 'Communities' I think.

As much as I think would be nice to drop into a million dollar project.

Being stirred to wake up from a "wet dream"!

That we need to spend so many hours of sleeping as a human being. If I only know how, I would create a pill that enable us to need less sleep so that we can do more things and achieve more in life.

Waking up

I hate perfect dreams you think are real. You get the girl. Your life is great. Then you realize you dreaming and have to wake up lol.

That I'm not awake and doing something productive.

I'm one of the lucky ones, I only need around 4 hours of sleep to feel great. I've been that way since I was a kid. I regret that I sleep that much, I can push it down to 2 or 3 hours for a week or so, but it usually catches up and I will sleep for 7 or 8 hours. Then feel horrible for sleeping that much.

Most of the extra time I either work or educate myself with that extra time. I enjoy my work so pu1lling 10 to 16 hours in a day doing stuff you love is awesome.

Think of it this way, I'm 42, if the average 42 year old sleeps 8 hours a day they have been asleep for 14 years...... If I only sleep 4 hours, I have 7 more years of life experiences and time for learning..... Which is an advantage, and I will take all the advantages I can get.

Nightmares where you see in your dreams your love ones are in trouble.

Wasted time

Such a good question. I have a lot of answers. Both bad and good. It will take a long time but I will make it short. My focus shifted from myself and my significant other to the little one. There was so much hope, so much awe and so much love for the new little being.

Lovely answer :)
thank you very much

I became a parent at 17. Then our second child came into the world when I was 20. The biggest challenge for me then was to earn enough to support not just myself but also my wife and two kids.

We eventually had 4 kids. Supporting them financially is still a challenge.

The biggest change in my life was that I had to care not just for myself but for my offsprings and wife as well. I think this contributed to my resilience. Parenthood will teach you many things and being patient is one of them.

I bet pacience and resilience grow a lot! There's no other way!
thank you for sharing your experience.

Less sleep. Less free time. And definitely less "us" time with the missus.

I find myself worrying about the child more than I would like to admit. I'm always thinking about "what if" and go take a bunch of precautions.

Furthermore, as a parent, I found myself taking financial decisions more seriously and become involved in more investment ventures and smart savings because I hope my son will benefit from what we built for him later on.

smart savings seems a good idea in order to keep everything under control in the future. thanks for the answer

Something I noticed about a year after my daughter was born was that since we had her, I've never been bored. It seems like now, for basically the first time in my life, I never have enough time to do all of the things that I want to do. I never spend enough time with my family, enough time working, enough time exercising, or enough time on my hobbies.

Not that I'm complaining; the joy of getting to know my daughter easily outweighs all of the added challenges.

When I was single I can buy whatever I want whenever I like. But when I got married and have kids even buying socks is hard to do coz I need to prioritized my children before myself. Seems funny but true.lol..

With over $321 million spent to make the movie and was released on the 28th April 2018 has already made more then $1.6 billion in revenue.
Which was your favourite character in Avengers Infinity Wars ?

Mine was Dr Strange ! What about you ?

that one guy that wears that mask

@danthundercloud 😱 😱 😱 Black Phanter ? or Iron Man ? 😎

the guy in red....
the flash

or was it deadpool?

Thanos

Had to be Dr Strange. He, along with Iron Man, made the most out of Thanos. As one of the few characters having the most screen time, Dr Strange is a pivotal character in this episode as his usage of the time stone set the plot for next year's Avengers 4.
"We are in the endgame", "14,000,605 and only 1 where we win"
And his sacrificial bargain with Thanos in exchange of keeping Tony Stark alive, that was EPIC.

Hulk - Because Mark Ruffalo was not able to transform him.

Dlive :

  • You can live streaming
  • You can upload your video and waiting for people to watch your video.

Dtube :
You can only upload your video and waiting for people to watch your video, no live streaming feature at this moment.

So the different is only live streaming feature on dlive, which dtube doesn't have right now.

Spelling.lol😆☺️

its always good to forgive if its a minor betrayal. for those major betrayals- cheating, stealing, murder, lying or physically harming you or a loved one- treat it like a game of halo, boot that fucker from your life and move on.

You need to use it as fuel , the anger needs to burn inside you to create or manifest something productive. It may be very difficult but a man who seeks revenge should dig 2 graves.

Not plan a revenge, wallow for a bit then use the anger to fuel my drive to become sucessful

There could be some breakthroughs, however, space travel is still a matter for the distant future (with the current known technology)

No I think this will take more than 100 years. I recently found out that some of the ISS astronauts already got more than 20% bone degredation in less then 6 months. This needs to be overcome in order to stay healthy

I think within 15 years Elon and the Space X team will have made humans interstellar beings, meaning we will have successfully put people on Mars. I don't think it will be the norm but it will at least be a reality that living on Mars because something possible.

I don't even think it would hit $5

Its impossible, XRP had highest surge to $1.8.

Mathew 7:7 "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you."

Keep on asking and searching and hopefully you will find the answers.

You learn. Pick the first question you have and start looking for the answer. If you are going altruistic and start with a big one like "What is the meaning of life," I'll give you a little help.
It is to LIVE every moment, give it everything you have, every minute you have, because you are not promised another second.

Just my #twocents take it or leave it.

Lol.. Nice one

Steemapple's answer is better though. That's usually the first place I start.

You post them here and hope for a satisfactory response.

Gaining weight is a lot easier than losing it. Prevention is better than cure, so as soon as you notice that your weight is going up, do something about it. Here's what I do. I weigh myself everyday and if I see an alarming increase, I start eating less. I drink more water and I get myself some green smoothies. Its difficult but I try really hard. And I try to reduce carb and replace bad carb with good ones like sweet potatoses

do to an injury that i received several years ago, my ability to perform several every day physical activities was drastically reduced. for a time i had to rely on a mobility scooter just to get around the house. of coarse the lack of exercise caused my weight to sky rocket.
now with new pain medication and a tenz unit i'm becoming more active.
tips on loosing weight that have worked for me:
a 2000 calories a day diet.
more vegetables and fruits.
no soda or candy, no cakes or dessert pies or pastries.
coffee lemon juice prune juice and mineral oil are effective diuretics and laxatives.
drink a liter of plain water a day.
sauna suits have worked for me just don't over do it.
exercise as much as you can.
good luck and be safe

Work out , Drink Water, Eat right

I'm totally slim, but to answer this I suggest to do exercise, eat more fruits and veggies rather than meat, avoid too much sugar and the most of all you should have DISCIPLINE to follow all these.

My answer would be vote selling hurts if steemit wasn't a complicated platform. Steemit is a very complicated platform and the effect of vote selling is hard to calculate.

For example at first glance one would clearly go this is a bad idea. However, when you add into the scenario bad distribution, bad curation or none at all. You begin to see without both manual and automated systems steemit may actually be worse off without voting bots and the like.

Let's consider a steemit without vote buying and selling for a moment. Sounds good but you'd in theory have less distribution. For example, the largest holders of sp may also be the most busy people. Which means they may do very little in the curation department if anything at all.

Let's say to remedy that they delegate their sp to some other person who can go about curating. Well now you have alot of influence in power in the hands of one person with a specific opinion and set of ideas. This person may only be interested in a particular subject of steemit posts.

In short as bad as vote buying sounds. It may actually make the steemit economy more sustainable. That is a theory but based on the already bad distribution on steemit. Massive concentration of influence ot less than 1%. Then statistically its no reason to believe distribution would be better without an automated voting service. If anything it would have to still be worse.

I will answer only the last part: Vote selling hurts the steemit platform far more than anything else. Vote buyers are greedy or ignorant of the long term effects of their actions. Voting is to the advantage of both the voter and the user being voted. If no one is buying votes, the sp holders would still have to vote in order to enjoy the benefits of curation as well as for the value of steem to appreciate.

Depends on which part of life. A partner which betrayes you can be less painfull then your own parents maybe. You feel empty, exhausted and desperate. But then again, the only one you need and love the most is yourself. Never loose trust in yourself!

How to edit or delete questions or answers at Musing.io?

I typed the same answer twice and posted both because I did not know that the earlier one had gone through. I would like to delete one of them but don't know how to.

You can do it on steemit.com. before it will appear as blog post but now they change it and it only appears now on the comment section. So if you wanted to edit just go to your steemit account at the comment section.

Thank you. Much appreciated.

lets reframe the question eh?

"why do nothing when you're living if you have a whole eternity do it instead?"

Both questions are equally legit. You DONT have to do anything at all with your life. Nature doesn't care, the universe doesn't care.

There is no purpose to life. Well, there is kinda one technically, biologically your purpose is to pass on your DNA and ensure that the Homo Sapiens does not go extinct. maybe that's the only thing nature cares about when it comes to what you should do.

It's all about perspective. Because there is no "greater purpose" in life, Life is exactly what you make it to be. Be it good or bad.

I dont care about what happens to me after i die the same way i didnt care what happened to me before i was born. This lifetime is what i have and you damn right im going to make the best of it with what i have.

We can talk about it more if you are interested in a civil discussion. It's 2.25am now as i type this and my mind isnt exactly sharp.

Great answer. The evolutionary definition is always useful to think about, and I've thought about this question a lot too! I've come to the same conclusions - that we were created and built to survive, and that our existence is most likely at least unknown to us within our ability to know. However, if and when you accept that we exist to survive and to prosper, then it can make life a lot more exciting! There should be pride in living a life aimed at prosperity imo.

Religion is man made and heaven is a place on earth.. Or is heaven even a place? Heaven is an idea. Your heaven is different from my heaven. The idea of heaven is to motivate us to do good. But even without that idea, doing good is always uplifting.. Once you do good, you realize how good it feels and you would want to do more. It's nothing to do with religion.

Religion is a tool for subordinating and controlling people. Forget religion. Spirituality is what we need.

Pretty long...

Forever.

Long AF

Human beings are motivated either by pain of pleasure. Simulate enough of both, and you will be able to manipulate/motivate someone.

To be able to manipulate/motivate someone better, get into the details of their pain and pleasure. The more precise the hot buttons you pressed, the more likely you'll be able to manipulate the person.

Nice one. You sound like Anthony Robins.

We are so easily manipulated because we generally lack the ability of critical thinking. We blindly accept facts that others teach us in schools, workplaces, at homes, etc... Many of us never ask ourselves if the words, facts or anything that other present to us is true. We are easily manipulated because we don't think, or we don't want to think.

Well said...I wanted to say the same thing but finding it difficult to articulate myself.

Reason is just greed.

Humans are generally trusting creatures, from the day we were born we learned to live by putting our trust to people who take care of us. Unknowingly a baby learns how to survive depending on who they are with and with that in mind people grow up.

Whether a human was pampered or not you can still manipulate them, its just the effort it takes to gain their confidence in you which is hard but by gaining their trust and after that you can basically have them do anything depending on how deep your connection with them is.

It's because some people who are close minded feel threatened by gay people. As well, many of those who discriminate against gays, have probable self-esteem issues.

We don't die. Our bodies die. We remain - that is our consciousness continues, only - for a while - we no longer have the physical body to identify with and play around in. We realise when we "die", if not before, that we are not these bodies but eternal beings of love and light who can play many games in many types of bodies in many universes. When bodiless, we can review all of our life experiences, and understand them, and accordingly choose what our next incarnation will be.

That is how it functions in my cosmos, anyway!

We wake up from the dream. We review our 'life'. We rest and recover :). We plan the next incarnation as 'formless spirit' taking on yet another 'physicality' in order to experience, to learn, to grow - ever expanding in an utterly interconnected and living universe of energetic benevolence.

Time ceases to exist and we continue living as an ethereal being in infinity. Or nothing... :D

My best guess is based on a quote from Einstein. "A soul is energy, energy's law tells us that energy never gets lost". Gives something to think about from Athiest to believer

It doesn't matter if you can't figure it out.

Pinch yourself

God did, when he breathed the words into existance.

Read the Bible for you to know the answer. The answer is in the Bible itself.

No one knows for sure. And i'm okay with it.

Death is not the end of life, but the beginning of eternity. The lifeless body is not buried in the depths of the earth. There is a spirit that must experience a long journey, can be terrible can also be fun. All depends on good deeds in the world. after the initial death of a real life without a dead word and continue to practice what we do in the natural world

The society or the majority.

That really sucks... Why should the society or majority determine how one lives one's life

To propagate and continue the human race.

Depends on your beliefs, really. I do not think their is a correct answer here. Some may say to continue on the human race and another may question that statement with "why should the human race continue on?" Is there a bigger picture here?
Why are we able to ask ourselves these questions when a dog or cat is not yet we still have the same reproductive functionality of both.
I would say ask yourself what you think your purpose is here, maybe it is something like taking care of your child, being a florist or space travel. Whatever you believe your purpose to be is probably why you were born.
Unless of course one day the sky opens up and some guy looks down at his project and tells us we are all part of his sons middle school biome science project.

When we are born we do not have anything but we die with our name. We are born so that we can write our name in the pages of history. Future generations can remember us for our good works. We have to make great efforts to realize our birth.

We are biological programmed to have "lust" which have one single big result. Children. Only Dolphins and monkeys also have sex because of lust. Rest is purely surival instinct, which we humans also have a bit.

Moved to the Hive platform.

You can't. If you could it would not be infinite.

Sin is vice or viciousness - the absence of virtue.

Virtues include love (real selfless universal love), peace, joy, humility, compassion, honesty and so on - there are many other virtues, and they are all characterised by selflessness, unity, and freedom. Virtues are qualities of the soul, and they are innately natural to us.

Sin is the inverse of these sorts of qualities, such as hate, violence, greed, arrogance, cold-heartedness, deceit - there are many more sins also, and they are characterised by selfishness, manipulation, and restriction. Sin is alien to the soul (albeit natural to our animal bodies), and an accumulation of sin blocks out the natural virtues of the soul.

Virtue elevates us and makes us more happy and contented, loving and caring, peaceful and harmonious. Virtue attracts virtue. Being virtuous attracts more virtue to us.

Sin, on the other hand, debases us. Sin is self-destructive and masochistic, and makes us fearful and miserable, cold and ruthless, hard and vicious. Sin attracts sin. Over time, we become lost and tormented souls.

In these times, the human race is increasingly dominated by sin, especially by those who seek to dominate us. Capitalism promotes and rewards sin. Our political systems promote and reward sin. Our cultural systems increasingly celebrate sin. All of this can only end in self-destruction, misery, and pain - and we can see that happening now all around us. The solution is in our own hands: renounce our sins and embrace our virtues.

Sin is literally self abuse, as every reaction produces a counter reaction from the cosmos. We get what we give. There are always consequences of the same nature and in direct proportion to the viciousness that we perpetrate. This is natural cosmic justice, and it operates immaculately whether we believe in it or not.

How do you deal with resentment?

Question can be answered in two ways: how do you overcome resentment or how do you handle people who resent you.

I just try to root of the resentment. Recognizing the root of your resentment will help direct you in how to overcome it.

Nope. They are completely different platforms.

How would steem win value if every new user increases inflation?

Is it possible for steem to gain value given that every new user increases its total supply?

The value of steem is indirectly proportional to its popularity and popularity is directly proportional to number of users on the platform. More users means more demand for steem and when demand increases, price goes up.

Thats wrong , the Reward Pool does stay the same no matter how many users are active or how many new users sign up. Just have a look at the steemit FAQ: https://steemit.com/faq.html#How_many_new_tokens_are_generated_by_the_blockchain The Inflation does start at 9.5% and does decrease by 0.01% every 250 000 Blocks (~0.5% per year)

Definitely, it is good time to buy.

It depends on what your goals and expectations are but I'd say it's a good time to buy some. Or even better to earn them via Steem ecosystem.

In my opinion, BTC can't be holded for long time.

Why is that?

Bitcoin will get legitimacy in all countries?

Many countries think that Bitcoin is harmful for their country. They think that Bitcoin will create inflation in their country. But is that right? Will Bitcoin never get all the legitimacy?

I guess it would take a while, and not all in one time, gradually, one by one, at last, it will.

Hmm, I just tried it out by answering a question on the site and it still posted to my blog. Does this only apply for answers on questions moving forward? (Edit: I deleted it from my blog, just in case anyone goes to look and is confused.)

Sorry 'bout that. There was some lag time between our systems. Your questions and answers should now be created as comments.

Awesome! Thank you so much, I love this project! Very excited to contribute now that the blog thing has been changed :)

Why does the Sun and the Moon seem the same size?

We know that the Sun is much larger than the Moon. However, when viewed from the Earth, the Sun and Moon appear to be about the same size. The reason for this is that the Sun is about 400 times larger than the moon, but at the same time about 400 times farther away. As a result, the Sun seems to be the same size as the Moon. However, isn't it a strange coincidence that the Sun is 400 times bigger and 400 times farther away? Is it just a coincidence or a thought-provoking question?

DISTANCE

Distance versus size, using rough estimates for brevity. Basically, the sun is 400 times larger than the moon. Then the Sun is 400 times further from earth than the moon. This gives the appearance that they are the same size.
Very few planets in the Universe could produce the spectacular Solar eclipses seen from earth, because of this near perfect ratio.

That thought-provoking question... Is it by design or coincidence? When I posted my answer I did not see your answer.

I liked your answer. Very detailed... :)

I actually heard it from a preacher year in support of a universal design.

Is Musing uploading my post with my local computer time?

Seems like my postings are uploaded with my local computer time...

Money could be one of them. A better life.. Better future for the children. So many ...

It's a pretty broad, open question. However, in order to respond, nowadays, it impels or motivates me everything I think or do, my family. It's like that, that's my motor to propulsion to move forward and motivate me every second of my life. (My family, including my pets.) I hope you have answered at least partially. Good luck, good day friend!

why animals are so faithful to humans, however, we mistreat them, abandon them and do not value them?

The question is simple. why are we like this? we should change our attitude.

Life isn't always fair. It just so happens that as humans we are more intelligent and have the power to take advantage of other species.

Another point is that while dogs are the prime example of faithful creatures, we also bred them to be this way.

I dont need to be the richest person on the world to live a life i want without worries.. Heck, i dont even need to be the top 1 million richest people in the world. A geographical untethered income of roughly $40,000 USD a year(in any form of value) is already enough to set me up for life.

So no, I won't do it. Because it's unnecessary to get me what i want.

Some movie, book, interesting information, journalistic article, something that you recommend me?

That's my question, someone who recommends any of the above options? It can be of any subject as long as it is interesting and helps me learn something new. Thank you :)

Book - Bible, interesting information - jw.org

Musing will surely keep on growing if users will post a lot of questions. I keep on searching questions but only seeing few. If users will get rewarded like a little bit high upvote value I'm sure this platform will be flooded with questions. Does musing.io have any plans to give rewards to users that will post questions? Like $0.05 per question posted or maybe higher?

Coche Island, Venezuela.

Piss in WC

November 2017. The first time i ever flew beyond my country, the time i ever flew to Europe, the first time i flew to Portugal.

It was a two week excursion with a friend in one of the oldest city in Europe.

The reason i traveled there was the same reason that made the travel possible, Steemfest2 Lisbon. This was the first ever actual vacation i had and it was a vacation that was paid for fully in Steem. Even the plane tickets and accommodation.

It was wonderful, the city, Steemfest, the whole experience. I come from Malaysia so we pretty much hate the sun. Over there, with the temperature and how the sun shines, i can sleep under the sun.. it's the first time i ever fell asleep under the sun. Sounds stupid but it blows mind sleepy mind when i woke up from the sunbathed nap.

The booze is....... a bottle of wine cost 1 euro... 1.Euro. There was never a day where i wasnt at least tipsy.

And the main reason it's the best vacation I ever have in my life yet is because of Steemfest itself. Imagine being surrounded by people that shares something in common, believes in something in common, and at the same time is as diverse as it it gets. The same circle of people will have Nerds, Selfie girls, hippies, digital nomads, CEO, activists standing together and talk and talk and talk, booze in hand.

I'll always remember that vacation. And hope that Steemfest3 can be as good if not better than that.

WOW, I was playing it for 9 years.

WoW would have been a close second on my list. I could probably go back in and see how many hours I had logged, but I haven't played it in forever. I left my list as a reply on another comment. Lot's of great memories of hiking up and down STV before I had my 60% mount at level 40...

That would be Football Manager closely followed by Comand & Conquer - Red Alert

C&C for the win! Red Alert was awesome, but I really like Red Alert 2. I remember the first time I saw the original I was blow away by the mechanics. I had never seen Warcraft or Starcraft before, so it was all so new to me. My games would probably be the original Final Fantasty for NES, Diablo 3, and Might and Magic 6,7,8.

Fifa 18.

We just released a big change last night so that questions and answers are all created as comments rather than blog posts. One of the main things stopping people from joining our platform was that there were too many Musing posts on their blogs from writing and answering questions,, effectively spamming their followers.

We believe that sending questions and answers as comments is the right way to go. However, we will be releasing a feature soon that allows you, if you like, to also post your answers to your blogs. This way, for the people that want to have more exposure to their posts, they'll be able to do just that!

I have notice something. The person who posted the questions on musing.io will no longer get upvotes unless someone will open it on steemit at the comment section. There are more people who answers the quetions rather than posting questions. I hope users will post more questions and get rewards.

I see! Thanks for letting me know. :-)

It's cool, but why you didn't make it from start? You thought that people would post answer only twice a day?

However, we will be releasing a feature soon that allows you, if you like, to also post your answers to your blogs.

What is the ETA for this update?

LOL, Someone like @ned would gift me a million steem power..... Who needs vote bots when you have that much juice for upvotes.

I would definitly try to change those comments with cotain the following:

  • Nice read good post
  • Like follow resteem upvote please do back
  • Your posts are always good
  • I like your post

etc.. you know them.

They love technically prejudice.

Meditation helps clear ones mind. There are many benefits to meditating.

Maybe Mindfullness is something to look into. This will take time to perform but after that your mind is a lot more organized and quiter.

I write in steemit when it has a lot of inspiration that can be well poured on the steam plate

What lie do you tell yourself many times?

We all lie to ourselves, day in and day out. Sometimes, you may be waiting for something unreal from your life, thereby being deceived. Do you understand when you lie to yourself? Moreover, more interestingly, how many lies have you told yourself repeatedly? Could you stop lying to yourself? That you were wrong. How can you be so sure that your current beliefs are true?

I will work harder

I won't be addicted to "it" again! But just one more try for the last time...

What do you mean by "it"?

"It" can mean anything you are addicted to.

That I will eat healthy today and lose 5 kg within a month.

That I would do better next time. I won't let greed take over my trading activity and when I am in the middle of a profitable trade, greed came out and took control and I eventually lose the trade.

That I'll sleep on time.

And also that I'll go to work on time :P

Everything is ok

I am improving myself ,need 1% motivation and 99% precipitation.

that i don't want to be very rich. that i'm happy with the way that i look. that everything will be alright, it will work out in the end. my penis is bigger than average size.

I will go to the gym and drink a lot of plain water. Feel guilty every single time.

Is it possible to imprison an alleged criminal before committing a crime?

The science fiction story of Philip K. Dick “The Minority Report” makes you think about working with crime forecasts. If we assume that one day in the future, advanced algorithms or something else entirely, can predict crimes, do we have the moral right to imprison people long before they commit a crime?

Who is most smartest Steemian?

Who doesn't make lot of efforts and makes lot of money is smartest performer on steemit.

Batman

Because he is master of comeback.

Of course TV. You can watch whatever you want in the internet nowadays.

I've already given up T.V. Only watched the royal wedding (Harry & Meghan) on TV but otherwise, have not watched TV for years.

I'd give up the TV, for sure. Haven't watched TV in years.

Movies cause I haven't enough patience to watch em till the end

I think she would think that I have done well for us. That she never would have imagined that she turned out this way. That I have achieved way beyond what she ever imagined. And if my future self come back to meet me today, I hope she has the same kind of story to tell me. I still have hope that I could still do much more than I can ever imagined.

Nice one!! I think my younger self would be reassured that the future is more safe than he tought. I struggled at school much due to never put out any effort but I still got a nice job in IT at the moment. I`m married, have a child etc, something younger me would never think of but always wanted!

As I'm going through therapy, I thought this would be the best question to answer- for myself. Young Debbie would look up to me now and said, "Why are you trying so hard to please some people who don't treasure you?" -Focus on the ones who matter. And yes, you're amazing even though you don't think you are.

Usefull thing 1 : DON'T BE lazy, one minute is small amount of time to learn something. It takes time to educate yourself. YOur one minute quastion is a copy paste. Don't do it. You lose your face when make someones work to seem as it's yours.

"Ian's knot" a very fast knot for shoelaces. It's supposed to be faster than a normal knot and saves you a lot of time if you add it up to your whole life.
You can learn it here: https://www.fieggen.com/shoelace/ianknot.htm

What's worse: to fail or not even try?

Otherwise, the question may sound like this: is it Better to do and regret than regret what you did not do? You can deeply despise failure and fear failure, but is it worse than not trying anything at all?

Failing is not bad. It happens all the time. Much much worth is not even try.

Not even try is worse!
You can learn with failure. You can't learn by not trying. If you react to failure positively, you'll get the blueprints for sucess.

Not trying is worse. If you fail, you can learn from your failure. If you don't try, you will never know. For me, I will die trying.

We should always try, you can't lose that way... If you fail you will learn... If you success you will win and learn... If you fail you may feel some pain but it's part of the process of learning and growing in life

Not even try is the worse, to fail is just a process of getting to win.

Fail is one the result of trying. Not even try is the worst because there is nothing at all. No progress. No result.

Failing is not always failing in my opninion. If you fail for something from which the outcome already is a bit clear, then you are failing but if you fail in doing something new, or innovative it's not failing, it's more like learning from your misstakes!

the worse is not to try, when trying to fail continue to try again the more often it fails then gets closer to real success

There are many theories about why we dream. Some say dreams are meaningful and should be interpreted, they are manifestatons of our subconcious. Some say dreams have no meaning and brains produces drams accidentaly based on what we know and experience while awake.

Dreams occur in the REM (Rapid Eye Movement) phase of the sleep cycle, about 6-8 times during nights sleep. It's the state when the brain is hyperactive (and it helps memorising what you did and learned the past day) but all muscles in the body are totaly paralised, except eye muscles (hence the name). You can see persons eyes moving unbelievably fast when in this state.
That hyperactivty produces dreams and we dream in every REM cycle, but we rarely remember our dreams. Best chance you have of remembering a dream is if you wake up after a REM phase and the dreams you had in that last REM phase is the ones you will remember.

Most plausible theory to me is that dreams are just random memories from our brain getting sorted and our brain makes sense of them by creating an imaginary world where those random signals make sense (a dream). That's why there's always something weird about a dream :)

Is human cooperation innate or learned?

To not fall into debates of group or kin selection, consider the cooperation to be among strangers.

It is the aim of philosophy to know truths in the universe, so my advice would be to study philosophy.

However, you can pretty much give up on knowing any absolute truth, because there will always be a way to doubt it. The first philosopher to really tackle this problem was Descartes in his book Meditations. You should look it up if you want to know more. He said that the only thing we can know for certain is that we exist. That is where the statement, "Cogito ergo sum", or "I think, therefore I exist" came from.

we are born. we live. we die. that is irrefutable truth.

Yes you can if you believe it yourself that you're are able to and work for it.

No I think not. We always have to live by rules, and regulation. Not every human is capable enough to be set free 100%. Two projects which will test humans capability of being completly free is a nominated basic income and our trip and colonization of Mars.

If Teresa’s daughter is my daughter’s mother, then what am I to Teresa?

There are some very difficult riddles on the internet, but there is one riddle that people can’t seem to figure out.

I like this question very much coz it is so simple yet tricky.. My immediate answer was 'husband' but I thought that was too simple, so I drew the family tree and the correct answer without a shed of doubt is that you are Teresa's son in law.

There's a problem, there are two possible choices. which depends on if the person asking the question is male or female. It is either son-in-law or Teresa's daughter.
level 1 Teresa
level 2 daughter, (question asker level as they are a parent to level3)
level 3 grand-daughter

Can small changes significantly improve people's lives?

Often, even small changes can have a huge impact on people's lives, whether economic or political changes, or the discovery of any new drugs. Do you think there is something that can be changed in this world that can benefit hundreds or even thousands of other people?

Is there something more than ourselves?

If you are looking for a controversial question, it is a question of whether there is a higher power. A large number of living people today feel (at least in some way) something more than they do. There are approximately 900 million atheists, and a much larger number of people who believe in higher powers. While unbelievers and believers are firmly convinced of their beliefs, it is not easy or even impossible to find a definite answer to the question. Way, it’s equally interesting to think about: either did the world just come out of a brilliant coincidence, or is there some sort of "Supreme power" that set it all in motion?

Everything, wanna discuss?

Everything, wanna discuss?

What would you change in this world?

Let's say you got the power to change just one aspect of this world, what would it be? Would you change anything for yourself and your life? Alternatively, have you changed something that would help other people lead a better life, even if you didn't benefit from it?

One country on the earth, or no countries' barrier

Is it possible to do something wrong if no one finds out?

In most cases, the fear of being exposed and punished from bad actions restrains us. However, if no one finds out about your immoral act, would it be okay to do it? Moreover, can this act be considered wrong if no one ever finds out about it and condemns you? Would you be able to do such a thing?

Many people will do something wrong

Wrong or right should not be up to the people around you. It should be your own conviction. Something that is totally OK for you could be wrong for the other person and vice versa.

Will the future be much better than now?

Today, life is much better than it was 50 years ago, when you look at the great strides we have made in areas such as technology and health. If this rapid progress continues in the future, will our descendants live much better than we do today? What would this life look like?

Depends on how long the future is . If it is the near future, say 10 to 20 years, yes, it would be much better in every ways. If it is another 100 or 1000 years, may be there is no future as we even dare to imagine. The future could totally be a different one.

Is it really much beter than 50 years ago? I think we have more technological stuff and conviniant things in life but when I hear people talking about the 60's or so they sound much more happy with that period of time.

The future will be better if humans learn humanity

Technologically better ecological worse

Why somebody need to have soulmate in their life?

Need the clarification about love and life

Do you really need a soulmate? Could your soulmate maybe also be someone who you don't fall in love with? A friend from the same gender maybe? This life isn't the ultimate form for a soul, I trully think this life is a lesson and if you learned this lesson good enough you can pass on to the next dimension.

For what reason or for whom would you sacrifice your life?

How much is your life more important to you than the life of your loved ones — are you willing to sacrifice it for someone's sake? Is there a person in your life for whom you will sacrifice your life? Would you be able to sacrifice his life for the salvation of a large group of people, perhaps unfamiliar to you?

I only would sacrifice my life for my son,

I don't know how much income you'll actually be able to get from it, but you could check out Lunyr.com -- it's a site where you can write nice articles and get paid in cryptocurrency.

Thanks @biophil-sc. Have you tried out that site before?

I have -- it's ok. There is a huge amount of plagiarism, so that's fairly discouraging. You also have to pay to post articles because they do the whole thing with Ethereum smart contracts. It can be fairly expensive.

Wow..that really is discouraging. If I have to pay to post article then how do I monetize from it?

Any dAPP built on top of this block chain will work. Steem token is probably the only crypto currency with a real use case that actually works today. Other than that, you can try staking coins such as ECA or any other POS coin to get some extra income. Setting up a master node can also be a lucrative business.

Thanks for the tips @kaliju. I am really getting hang of steemit after MIA for few months

@asyrafahamed the important thing is that you are back, I'm sure you will be up and running in no time again :D

They let everyone go in front of them

Because no one likes a nice guy. Hell, they don't even finish at all. Niceness = weakness.

Being good, now that's a different story.

Interesting...what is the difference between good guy and nice guy?

A good guy is genuine in all that he does, doesn't look for fame, and makes his intentions known.

A nice guy does things just to get noticed and is all "look at me! Look at how virtuous I am" and gets ignored and walked all over.

Are you talking about orgasms?

Not always. Nice guys do not always finish last as there are situations and times in life when bad guys aren't even wanted or welcomed.

How do you know your beliefs are true?

You know how quickly beliefs about certain things can change. (Once people were convinced that the Earth is flat.) You may have once firmly believed in something, but eventually discovered the true nature of things, and realized that you were wrong. How can you be so sure that your current beliefs are true?

When my prayers have been answered.

I used to have blind faith and used to believe many things without questioning much. Even, when I questioned myself, it was difficult to find answers. I would not have known the reason for my believe, I just believed it. Later on as I read more and has more access to more information, I realized that there are more to it than my blind faith. So now, I don't believe in the things I used to believe in. I am more liberal now. I know that my beliefs are true when I have peace of mind concerning the particular belief.

I don't. Beliefs and truth are mutually exclusive. When i "believe" in something, it is a personal bet that something may be true or potentially be true.

Your beliefs are always true. That is why they are beliefs.

I use my Intuition utmost.

You can't be sure, you just take all the data you have received and try to create informed beliefs.

Its just a game of intuition.

You will never know.

Will we one day know the truth about everything?

In recent years, we are opening more and more new knowledge and achievements. Humanity today knows much more than humanity of past centuries, however, there are still many mysteries and unexplained things. However, what if one-day scientific progress reaches a point where we can explain any phenomenon in life? Will life without mystery become more interesting? What will we strive for when everyone knows?

Universe is too big to know everything

Would you use a steem based discussion board?

I'm currently working on a steem based discussion board where steemians can discuss, learn, share and exchange. Would you use such a platform?

Yes. Without doubt. From day one.

Cool! The first working prototype is ready. Please let me know how you like it or have any suggestions steemstack.net

Would it be something like Discord? I know a lot of discussion takes place on there for many Steemit matters. Something built into the platform would be awesome though. It never hurts to get more information out about Steemit and help more people become informed!

Not like Discord, but like Discourse. The first working prototype is ready and can be found here steemstack.net

I've never used it, but there was a Steem project called ChainBB. You should look it up. It was built by @jesta but is now shut down I believe. He could probably provide you some input.

Thanks! Ya I know about this project, it's a pitty that it was shutdown. But anyway I released the first working version on the discousion board. Suggestions are welcome steemstack.net

A working prototype is ready. I would love to hear suggestions steemstack.net

The villains consider themselves heroes?

In most movies, villains are portrayed as truly evil. There are only a few films that explore the underlying motives of the antagonist's behavior. The same is true for reality. While there are scary psychopaths who do evil things without a valid reason, it's also possible that there are people who do evil because they believe it's the right thing to do. This is a suggestive question: are there any such evil people who really believe they are heroes?

Moved to the Hive platform.

Imagine a reality where you wanted to save the world or maybe even just your town and through various "moral" and questionable decisions many have been hurt and killed for you to achieve your goal. In your vision you may be saving your people but in the eyes of the rest of the world you have been playing the villain all along.

Are you really free?

If you read this article, the chances are high that you live in a free and open society. However, sometimes, people live within a mental prison. They can perceive themselves as free, but their thinking limits them. At the same time, there may be boundaries that society imposes on us without imprisoned us in a physical prison. Can you honestly tell yourself that you lead a free life? How can you increase your level of personal freedom?

No one can be truly free as long as you live in a society. The matter is how much free you are.

No one is really free. I am definitely not free. There are things I would do differently if I don't have any loved ones. But my freedom is limited by what I think about those I care about and about how their lives are affected by my choice. I make choices every day and those choices are always compromises. My freedom is always at stake.

DON’T GIVE UP TODAY’S FREEDOM TO YOUR PAST
Your past choices do NOT dictate your future choices unless you allow that to happen.

  1. Pick an activity you are familiar with
  2. Stack your dates to create a lasting impression
  3. Pick a restaurant you are familiar with
  4. A movie is an easy way to prolong the date and to have something to talk about (be smart about the movie choice)
  5. Design a date in your strength, not your weakness.

the classic dinner and a movie first date formula is a tried and true choice but it is old.
an amusement park could be a solid choice if there is one close by.
if you feel daring and there is a water park near you that could be a nice change of pace.
an afternoon picnic on the beach or at a nice park.
a trip to a museum or aquarium followed by a nice meal.
or ask her or him, what they would like to do on the date before the two of you go out.
most important be yourself unless you're a total douche bag ass hole.

If no one is watching the event, is it happening?

Every day, something happens in the world that no one, even animals, are watching this event. However, these things do happen if nobody noticed? Will there be a rumble of a tree falling in the forest if no living creature hears it? The world will exist if for some reason there is not a single observer?

Everyone is a creator of their own reality.

Are you the same person you were 7 or 10 years ago?

Every day the cells of the body die and are replaced by others. This normal process occurs throughout our lives. Curiously, white blood cells have an incredibly long lifespan-over a year. This means that all cells in the body are replaced after a little over a year. Other cells live much less, some are even replaced within an hour. Are you still the same person you were a few years ago, even though every cell in your body has been replaced?

I am not even the same person as I was last year
