I think musing.io would have an application in the future. Most of the platforma already have one and it would definitely be a consideration. I will definitely buy in to the idea. Imagine an application like the esteem app. It makes surfing around steemit.com, a fun experience. I would like for such to happen with musing.
The truth is that I use musing.io way more than I used to in the past. Although I haven't been too fine for some days now, I actually came back as fast as I could. Musing provides a resource for learning and contrary to what many think, musing really does have nice contributions.
As to supporting mark down, I think musing.io already does, at least to an extent. You can make your text bolder, italicized or even add images. It is available when you use a pc and also becomes available when you try to edit your answer on mobile.
I'm also thinking that in addition to getting an app, musing could have her own token so contributors could hold on to some pending when SMT will be launched.
