😱 Tesla / SpaceX CEO Elon Musk DELETES company Facebook Pages with 5 million Fans!

CEO Elon Musk, an AVID Twitter user didn’t even know that Tesla or SpaceX HAD Facebook pages, to begin with! Throwing his support for the #deletefacebook hashtag trending on Twitter by the former co-founder of 'WhatsApp', Brain Acton — Musk went ALL IN by deleting both companies’ Facebook Pages yesterday afternoon:

This decision may have stemmed from the long-running feud between the two billionaires DATING all the way back in September 2016, when Zuckerberg’s $85 million Internet(dot)org satellite exploded in a pre-launch test fire accident on one of SpaceX’s rockets. Musk threw more shade at 'the Zuck' by bringing up the failed 2016 Facebook satellite launch on last night's Tweet here: https://goo.gl/GQkXUM 😆

Guessing their respective Social Media Managers can focus on other platforms now that their ‘official' company Facebook Pages are GONE. Could we see other companies #deletefacebook, abandoning the Social Media network entirely and cease ad spending on the platform? 🤔

I don’t think it will affect the Facebook ecosystem that much in the beginning the newsfeed is ultra competitive and other companies will see it as a chance to gain some ground on the platform as others leave

I do however think that this will make some PR waves and see some companies follow, but not nearly enough

With the $10 Billion devaluation this past week as Facebook shares for the Social Media network lost 14% of its value because of the Cambridge Analytica data breach, you have to wonder if the Facebook platform is worth the gamble at the expense of customer privacy, loss of buyer trust and online reputation if any of their Fans' personal data is used responsibly.

Considering that both Tesla and SpaceX has never spent for any ad spend on the Facebook platform and build up their 5 Million Fanbase ORGANICALLY, as Musk can attest here:

Unfortunately Facebook is NOT a 'Social Media' company but an ADVERTISING company with OUR personal data (along with family, friends, coworkers, acquaintances, etc.) as its property to be bought and sold to ANY paying advertiser (no matter what doctrine or motivation) and accept ANY currency, including the Russian Ruble.
