Bari Weiss edition again is a nothing burger telling us things we already knew before and documenting boring internal discussions on how to handle content moderation.
She said Twitter reduces the amplification of certain content. Weiss mentioned some right-wing accounts that had that treatment such as LibsofTikTok. In LibsofTikTok's case the suspensions were for violating Twitter's hateful conduct policy. For others mentioned, she never says why.
Of course what makes this ironic is that Musk recently said explicitly that Twitter is going to shadow ban accounts.
Ironically still no actual files released to the public in the Twitter Files saga.
Also can we talk about this crappy crop job? Twitter was just about to say stuff about LibsofTikTok's actions that were relevant to their assessment of the account and she cropped it out. If you aren't going to share the actual files, don't crop out relevant content from the screenshots
