The new year

2017 has come and gone, we had so many vision and long list of plans for that year the year before it, so many of this plan came to fulfilment while others came to no avail, some had plans that they would startup a new business, did this plan come through? Some had said they would buy a new house, were they able to get it? Some said they would improve on their basic skills, where they able to go through with it? Some had said they would make sure they make their post very relevant here on steemit and earn a good reputation for themselves, were they able to do it? Some had plans to change their style of living, were they able to change them? and so much more. But now 2017 has gone with some of these plans unmet, with great joy have we entered the new, we celebrated it because it is another privilege that God has given us, amidst all these great joy we mustn't forget the plan we had last year that didn't come to fulfilment, and we mustn't also forget that we are to set goals and targets for the year 2018.
I for one have certain goals and targets that I must hit in this year 2018, targets in my academics, in my relationship with God, in my financial life and even targets here on steemit. These goals are not just going to come on their own, strategies must be set, plans must be drawn out to make them come to reality.
One one my goals for this year is to make sure I learn as many new things as I can and unlearn many irrelevant ones, I must see to it that I improve myself on things that I have already started learning.
I believe there are so many opportunities on steemit, so many things to learn and also to gain, these opportunities must not be taken for granted, I must make sure I explore them as much as I can.
It is a new year, a new season, full of new challenges and opportunities, lets make sure we maximize these opportunities and make 2017 a year to remember.
