MY Book

I AM after all these years looking into a book. It is a book that I have just recently discovered that I have always had. It is a fine book that has many good things recorded within it but this is actually my first read of this book with the proper glasses on.

I have found that this book has many entries that are not correct. Entries that I have not written. I have found much that is not true and pose great danger to its true author. This book is a type of book that many never get to see... but we ALL have this book. A book that is for many tragically buried way back in our collection of things. And some hope it will only collect the dust of our lives instead of what it needs. It is in desperate need of OUR attention, OUR review AND OUR diligent management for weeds and shadows are tricky and do not like to stop growing or moving.

It is private to the point where many do not realize they HAVE this book. But it is indeed in YOUR collection. And do know it is both private and public. However, it will forever remain a mystery never to be seen by you if you do not open its pages - but others look at its pages - ALL THE TIME.

As you know already, this book I am referring to is MY book. And YOU have one too.

I have discovered in MY book that there are mistakes and things I never knew were added to MY book. In my honorable ignorance, I overlooked much while running what appears to me being this far down the line, in my ever wearing space ship, to include in its pages a lot of senseless distraction, ignorance and lies. It is hard to face yourself when you realize you never fully understood yourself as who you truly are. But I have begun to fill the holes, the cracks that I have allowed to keep me distracted. They are MY cracks... MY holes! I have allowed them... they are mine to repair.

What do you do when you have done everything you think was right and honorable and find out you have been deceived in a tragic and oh so fancy way that would make any reasonable person's head spin? Many have jumped into the abyss thinking they could never erase the lies, to pull out the weeds and correct the mistakes. Tragic

What shall I do? What shall ANY of us do? What I AM doing now is the only thing any of us can do with OUR book. To dive headlong into its pages! To wrestle with its contents and face what it says. I AM dealing with MY ignorance and failures as MY books one and only TRUE author. There have been infiltrators... but I AM its author. I have made a discovery that others have been messing in MY book. Writing things... bad things... untrue things... things that only bring harm and devastation. So I have begun using a big eraser to remove the remarks others have made. I've given no others the authority to pen in MY name in MY book ... but in my minor state ... it has come clear I have let that happen ... these are MY mistakes as a child. So, I AM correcting the remarks by those who have no authority to write in MY book and I AM making sure what is included is correct and true!

It is MY duty as MY administrator - MY duty as executor - it is MY duty to MY family - it is MY duty to you. I AM so glade I found this book... some of the things it says hurt because they are not true about ME. But the joy I feel now cannot be measured because only I have the authority to make the corrections on every mistake found within... it is MY BOOK.
